I really don't understand the people saying "he made an apology video leave him alone". Do you people have no sense of time whatsoever? This video was uploaded A YEAR AGO as an unlisted video, and was made public an entire day before Jhanzou's apology video. Y'all are acting like this video was made after Jhanzou's apology when it's really not that hard to check upload dates or video descriptions.

There's using animation reference. Then there's copying. Animators, you already know don't do this.
Generally, you can copy some fight scenes to use as reference, as a learning practice to your own visual database. Like tracing Pokémon cards.
However, once you copy someone else's work, animated or not, it is imperative that you do not share it with anyone. It is yours to look at, and yours alone, to learn and/or appreciate another's artist skill.
Imagine capitalising on it.
Its sad cause the masses on his channel actually believe he animated it when his crew stole fight animations via tracing.

You know I'm not even an artist/animator so I dont know half the struggle that people usually go threw, but like seeing this, makes me wonder, what's changed for the community for drawing and animating
if you wanna know how hard animators go through is take for example that naruto scene sassy owl shows, that scene requires at least alot of planning and skills to finish, even fastest animator take like 3 days to finish just that 0.2 seconds scene clean up and it takes longer for normal animator. Now this guy just copy the exact same in exactly 30 seconds . It feels like as if you are working for some for over 30 years and someone stole it from you in 30 seconds. Thats how most animators feel. Not to point out he also steal some underrated animator's animation, ruining the original animator reputation. Jhanzou steal his animation and people thought he steal Jhanzou's. As if someone steal your hardwork that you spent for eternity. To know what struggles animator go through isnt hard. Just imagine if you are any kind of worker that have to come up with new original ideas then you did but only for someone to yoink your ideas. That is how all animators that jhanzou traced from feels. Literally

Multiple traced scenes from a whole bunch of different animators that worked their butts off to get their work done, then claiming it to be his, is another thing

Um I disagree, tracing is alright if you don't overdo, think of it like a reaction channel, there are good react videos where the person edits and give their views and then there is the one where the person just sits and pauses the video once and call that a reaction. But I do wanna say not giving credit is a scummy thing to do which he did do after so continue enjoying his work if you liked it before don't let this spoil your experience

Janzhou's fans are so attached to his contents that they are even willing to defend him for whatever he has done that caught him in a corner, be it wrong or a misguide. So by the time they hear Jhanzou's alibi, they will most likely believe everything immediately from him without knowing the actual truth because they trusted him, or else it will be hard for them to take it due to emotional discomfort.

IDK but I'll let it go coz I never understood copyright issues or tracing for a while so it might be the same with him. People can get insecure or arrogant when they get called out. So sometimes it takes many people to realize that you're the one who's in the wrong. I have gone through this and I'm pretty sure most people have gone through this as well.
