I think the condo vs house rental prices have much narrow difference in Chiang Mai than in places like BKK, you can get very nice house for around 15k/month, the only difference is the maintenance, if you live in the house you probably need to invest more time doing chores than in condo, and also, expect the house not to be close to the city centre, more like 15-20min drive away.
Great video! I will retire early soon and have been looking for a rental house in the area that allows pet.(dog). There were some at an affordable price but none had info allowing pet. I did requested for more details. I still got several more years to go reasons why I'm starting to do researching and looking around. Thanks for your awesome chanel!
First condo, second bedroom - so is that tv on a swivel arm so you can actually see it from the bed, or are you supposed to perch on the safe? 😂 Seriously, nice info! And thx for panning slowly - easy to see everything, and no vertigo! 😅
Question how do people get a year condo and stay with minimum or no visa. How many times can you leave and re-enter Thailand. 8 want a condo in phuket. But maybe just 6 months. Any advice on what I mentioned.?
For 9500 that's a steal! That is what I'll be looking for when I move next year for sure.
I could very well live on the cheaper one. Very nice. Not bad price.
The second condo is great for that price. With the money saved, you can buy luxury furniture, a bigger fridge, etc to make it look even better.
Thank you for the walkthroughs and prices!
Those are nice units...large rooms. The one-bedroom has a unique floor plan. thx
Thanks for the great content. Hope to meet Alice next week..
Not bad for a budget place. Great vid brother!

Thank you 🙏
The smoke is a turnoff for all the great aspects of Chang Mai. That second condo is killer
Great videos and great insight. Do you think a 37 single male live comfortably on 1700 a month from VA disability?
You can make that work but it depends on your lifestyle. 👍
When you say monthly would that include one month only? Worth quoting if they are:-)
Most condos will have a six-month to a one-year lease agreement. I’m sure you can find some on a monthly basis though.

You need to speak with a realtor here in Thailand for the first question. You have to purchase a multiple entry permit from immigration.
Thanks just how you replied made me understand how the visa works. Everyone hasn't explained it.
Is it possible to find a condo or rental with enough land to grow some food or like a farm? I would love that! lol
You may want to check with Alice. 🇹🇭
@@TheNarrowGate I shall!
You forgot to show the bathroom for the 2nd condo.
Do you get problems with bugs at all in condos, hotels in Chiang Mai?
We use a pest control company. I believe if you did not have one that there would be problems.
Yeah bed bugs and cockroaches would gross me out. I’d hate to rent the wrong hotel.
I didn't see any air conditioners?
Wow, the pollution still looks really bad.
1st unit not sure i would call it luxury condo, very outdated. Just ok
