Got my 2023 ES300h Lexus last month. It's the Ultra Luxury trim, which is what we wanted and is the highest trim for the ES hybrid. It is the Cloudburst Gray exterior with Acorn color semi-aniline leather interior. Total Installed Packages & Accessories: 1) Premium Triple-beam LED headlamps; 2) Smartacess Card Key; 3) Premium Paint; 4) Lexus Interface with 12.3-in Multimedia Touchscreen Display; 5) Ultra Luxury Package; 6) All weather floor liners and trunk mat; 7) Door edge film by 3M; 8) The Preferred Accessory Package; and 9) The Dealer added a 5-year windshield protection/replacement coverage package and tinted the driver and passenger windows. MORE: The three-projector headlamp design creates an eye-catching L shape. Adding to this brilliant design, the headlamps feature LED side turn signals, as well as an Adaptive Front Lighting System6 that uses steering and speed sensors to direct the angle of low-beam illumination as the vehicle enters a curve. The Adaptive Front Lighting System monitors steering and speed with a suite of sensors and will automatically adjust the angle of your low-beam headlights to improve visibility on curved roads. Ultra Luxury extras: 1) 18-inch split-five-spoke alloy noise-reduction wheels 2) Power rear sunshade with manual rear-door sunshades 3) Power open/close trunk with kick sensor 4) 12.3-inch multimedia touchscreen display 10.2-inch Head-Up Display 5) Intuitive Parking Assist with Auto Braking and Rear Pedestrian Detection, and Panoramic View Monitor. Averaging 43++ MPG City/Hwy driving and I had the oil and filter changed at 1,000 miles for my own peace of mind. Just For Reference: I was not going to wait one-year or 10,000 miles to have the factory installed oil & filter changed. And, I shall be changing the oil (Liqui Moly 0W-16 Spec V) and the Toyota filter every 5,000 miles from now on. Like Scotty Kilmer says, oil & filters are cheap, engines are expensive. LOL 😎
Thank you so much for sharing. Sounds like some very nice features and can’t go wrong with that. Lots to really like about these cars and it surprises me there aren’t more out on the roads.
@@ECPP Thx for the kind words. We could not wait 9 to 12 months for an NX350h or RX350h, which is what 5 dealers in Texas told me. The ES300h is hard to get (we were just lucky someone backed out of a deal) and Toyota is moving production back to Japan from Kentucky. That's what I read recently. The Kentucky plant is gearing up for God knows what EVs, maybe... what a bunch of BS. It will be even harder to get an ES300h, because there will be an import tax since they will be Made in Japan.
Love your vehicle videos Mark......just curious.....have you considered adding some scenic views of some spots in Canada? I can't speak for anyone else of course, but i think u live in a pretty neat part of the world......would b nice to see some Canadian scenery added in with your regular content.😊
Thanks a lot Dave, yes I like to do that and I share more of that in my other channel @mark_holubetz. the vlog as that is more on my personal beliefs and experiences. I have some great content there.

I'm surprised at the recent models available from Audi, over the past few years. Ironically, some BMW models with the introduction of the B-58. Moth to a flame, after previous experiences. "Life is too short to drive boring cars!
Haha, I hear ya Thomas its almost like the garden of eve and I also get mesmerized by the next set of performance stats and its hard to resist. The B58 is a better engine, and tuneable so its hard to ignore it. Are you looking at another BMW?
@@ECPP BMW is, certainly, stepping up the game, recently. The cost of new vehicles is over the top except Porsche 911 being stupid high on the used market. I don't mind reaching for performance and quality, But sanity has to enter the decision making process. So, a 3-year-old BMW might be a solid option, with a warranty of sorts.
Those vehicles are very nice indeed. I was deciding between BMW/Mercedes/Lexus but I will be going with Lexus IS 350 F Sport with nice specs. The looks reliability and powertrain combined made me go with Lexus. I know BMW and Mercedes have excellent engines but I love the look of F Sport IS 350
None of these cars will get over 20mpg in actual urban driving unless they hv hybrid powertrains. It’s tough to justify gas cars when paying $5.50/gallon in LA, but if I lived somewhere where gas was cheaper it’s not as big a deal I guess.
All these Cars are Asian & European Cars. Not even one American car made it on the list. This shows how thirsty american cars are in my opinion. Really enjoy your videos. Keep it up
If you're going to get hosed and shafted at the dealership on the price of the luxury car, get ripped-off by their service dept, be victim to high interest rates, but have to have that "luxury" car, why stop there? Might as well fill that tank with the highest octane gas because at that point, the fuel cost is the least of your financial issues!
If it wasn't for China Volvo would probably be dead. When you live with those cars (recent) Volvo the experience is inconsistent, it's never the same when you floor it or brake abruptly, it's a symptom of electronic nannies but the Volvo experience to me is the worst I've driven.
Yea you intentionally cut that the out of the video idky maybe because you are more concerned with trying to push Audi. You didn’t list certain features or that it is a plug in hybrid.
It's a shame that he's boasting about getting 28 miles to the gallon when we have technology that can get upwards of 75 miles to the gallon but it's not profitable to bring that technology to the public ! It's all about Money ain't a darn thing Funny ! ...and remember ....
As a mechanic I can admit I'm still yet to see catastrophic engine an transmission failure on Lexus
Can beat a brand that came from reliability. Now they added luxury to it. Two great combos and hard to beat.
I have an IS250 that has 298K and the dealer tries to buy it everytime I go in for service. Runs beautiful!
As a mechanic I see that everyday very very common.

I like the plastic sheets that are attached to the Lexus SUV. They sure improve the aerodynamics of the vehicle 😀.

Those highway mileages are rubbish, only very slightly better than 30 years ago. With all the engine improvements they should be 40+
My older Mercedes CLA 250 gets 43 mpg on long highway trips
