Kevin pinch me moment. You’ve outdone yourself! Hopefully the best for New Pacific airline.
Great job Kevin and Rudy on covering this milestone event! Also a great editing job by Charlie!
Very Nicely Done. Thank you for sharing this with us. Another milestone for the Airline Industry
That is so good. Congrats AVL!
Kevin this is the best video I’ve ever seen. Shed a tear 🥹. Well done
This was fabulous 👌 as you said Kevin, you will want to watch over and over. I got goose bumps watching. Awesome job, well done!!

Way cool. This was great to see. I hope they will come to San Diego soon
nice video Charlie great work.
Another epic product from Kevin, Rudy, and Charlie! 👏 Feels like we were a part of the experience. You should be proud, indeed.
Nice job Kevin, I wish them all the luck and continued success. Love those 757!
Very nice Kevin - This airline should use your video for promo and commercials. Top notch - and wow - you were on the flight to Vegas as well? This is Sam Chui level - very impressive.
Great video, and super great voice-over, Kevin! 👍👍Professional as always!
I definitely see myself using this airline.
Looks like a cool project! I hope they find success in the industry!
Great video Kevin.
Amazing job Kevin, Charlie and Rudy! Thanks so much for everything. Hopefully we will see you soon at Sunday for Big Sunday Show at LAX. Cheers to all of us my friends you were doing a fantastic job! See you again soon! 👏👍😀
YESSS!!!
Wow congratulations awesome
Well done….Kevin your work just gets better and better…and that’s starting from great. Pure perfection!😊
I was really rooting for this airline. Hopefully they'll resume flying soon.
Awesome job, Kevin! Here’s to a bright future for New Pacific.
Cool video and good luck to them after a rocky start. Can't seem to book a flight with them on their website. Are they actually open for business?
It's interesting that they would change their name after the flight - did they say why? Love the video, Kevin, Rudy, and Charlie! Great job :)
Cause of a threat of a lawsuit by BNSF Railway which owns the Northern Pacific name
@@ocbusfan yikes
@@ocbusfan thanks!
A great documentary, keep them coming.
And away we go
Very cool how Northern pacific airways are flying planes that was face death but got a second life!
Sorry that I am so late to the party!!! But another epic upload from the hard working team at AVL!!! Awesome production can't wait for the next!!
Best of luck to them. Great job on the video
Beautiful Northern (New) Pacific Airways Kevin 🖤🤍
Good job on the showcase Kevin missed Rudy.❤❤❤❤
I drive by ONT back and forth 8 times a week. I love LAX.
that is cool... I flew US Airways when they where still around while I was in the Navy i flew home on leave on US Airways most every time one of there hubs was Charlotte if flew out of Norfolk International Norfolk VA and flew to Charlotte to Jackson MS JAN
Nice. But unfortunately, 1 thing that is missing is a headrest. Headrest is when I adjust the headrest so that it's comfortable so that passengers won't fall asleep.
I give them a few years.
It is unfortunate that Northern Pacific Airways had to change their name to New Pacific Airlines. It doesn’t have the same catchiness/ring like their previous name. Eventually New Pacific Airlines will wear off the newness and become Old Pacific Airlines 😂
Too bad they had to change their name
I know. There was nothing wrong with the original name.
@@christophercotton9048it was taken by BNSF Railway. The northern pacific name was an old railroad that existed running across the northern US. In 1970 it merged with the Great Northern Railway and the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad and created the Burlington Northern. The BN later merged with the Santa Fe in 1995 and became BNSF. They still own the name Northern Pacific, which is why Northern Pacific Airways got in trouble for using it. I do agree that Northern Pacific sounds a lot better than New Pacific, but they did use a copyrighted name. As someone who likes trains and planes I found the whole thing very funny
Why the quick name change?
Because it belongs to Burlington Northern Railroad - Berkshire Hathaway - Warren Buffet. They picked the wrong name. Took a gamble, and lost.
@@Digidude1You mean BNSF Railway; anyways they should’ve simply licensed the rights to the name to the airline instead and all of this would’ve been avoided
@@ocbusfan I believe they tried, it was a no go. NP decided not to fight it in court. New Pacific Airline needs to focus on their business instead of fighting a court battle that could take years and millions of dollars. A fight over a name which they should have done their due diligence in the very beginning, would have avoided this whole mess.
@@ocbusfan Read the article on Simple Flying. NP and their attorneys should have taken care of this before they started operations. "With the fact being that BNSF does legally hold an existing trademark, not to mention the strength of its ownership, including Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway, engaging in a legal battle as a startup airline would be an unwise move."
"McKinney noted that he had attempted to engage with BNSF multiple times to resolve the dispute amicably, including even writing to Buffet in person. Ultimately, the rail company preferred to handle things through the courts."
They sure dropped the ball on that name. Im a railfan, and I thought how can they could get away with that name. They sure messed up on that one.
This airline is now known as New Pacific Airlines, not Northern Pacific. They were forced to rebrand themselves after a potential lawsuit from Pacific Northwest Pacific Railway. They kept a name starting with "N" so they didn't have to redo all their printed and online stuff...You can Google to find out about this...
It was not a potential lawsuit, BNSF won in court, it would have been foolish for NP to spend millions of dollars and years fighting, when they need to focus on their business if they are to survive.
…and the return flight was cancelled. What a train wreck this airline is.
Great job guys!! that was some amazing video!
You've done it again K-dog! That was great, thanks for everything you do!
Not sure about that name change though.
Great production job, Kevin, Charlie and Rudy!

Great job Kevin, Rudy and Charlie. I hope you keep those goodie bags with the Northern Pacific name a logo - it should become a major collectable for AV geeks. Oh, how I wish I could fly on one of my 757s again, especially on those rocket takeoff!
❤❤❤❤❤❤ loved it. Awesome job Kevin
Wow, brilliant work, Kevin - fantastic capture of a slice of aviation history. Loved it

Wow, what an experience. Thank you for taking us along and sharing these insights - an amazing exclusive. Hello from London : - )
Even though there's the name change because of copy right issues they will always be Northern Pacific for me.
Well once again.. you did not disappoint! Fantastic job to you guys!! Great editing, voice over, music etc! I could really feel the excitement that was in the air just by watching!!! Super job!!
Thank you 👏!! That was incredible!! Well done ❤️
Great job AVL Crew on Northern Pacific first flight.
Bummed to miss the live premiere…but WOW! What a great video. It truly felt like following along with a story and YES, there was so much emotion captured. This was so touching, amazing job to Kevin, Rudy, and Charlie! All the best to New Pacific Airways!
Congratulations New Pacific Airways and well done Kevin...that was fun to watch!
This kind of quality content is what sets AVL apart from all the other aviation channels out there. I thoroughly enjoy the behind the scenes content. Keep up the great work Kevin and team! Top notch!!
Outstanding video, Kevin.
it's got racoon eyes
Muito legal mesmo 😃👏👏👏👏👏👏
Kevin this is the best video on this channel
Why the name change so quickly?
nice finally Northern Pacific Airways Boeing 757 is flying 😊 but why did they change their name to New Pacific Airways again??
4 months later and they don't even fly to Vegas anymore.
Interestingly, this company no longer flies scheduled flights and only does charter flights. Odd company history if you look into it. Enjoyed the video to get a glimpse. Thank you AVL!
This video is awesome guys, great job. I miss flying, my mom use to work for American Eagle in Muskegon, Michigan's airport then when American Eagle/ American Airlines came over to Gerald R Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids, Michigan my brother and I use to fly alot. Last time I flew was 2012 from Gerald R Ford International Airport to Chicago O Hare then to St Paul Minneapolis Airport ( actually not even sure what the airport is called, it's been a very long time) but flying these days just costs so much. But I do very well miss it.
Probably one of few flights it will end up operating. Poor start up plan using out of production jets
Since when is a Railroad an Airline? And where is the Monad?
