SA Amazing Nulabor Plain by Drone

  • The way across Australia mandates crossing the Nulabor plain (Latin for no trees). A massive stretch of absolute flatness connecting South Australia and Western Australia.
    The total lack of normal features highlights the characteristics of this plain that you wouldn't normally appreciate. Like the incredible flatness, the straightness of the road (singular), the sand "mine", the number of identical bushes, the sheer size of it all and (if you notice in the distance) the sudden terrifying drop off the edge into the ocean. (see next video)

      No , it is that straight . I know , I drove a grader up to the border SA/WA during the construction . `75 There were times when I forgot what the steering wheel was there for .I`d be thinking it was just something to hang on to if I fell asleep .
