The current sinbin rules for dissent (at the grassroots level) is even more confusing. A yellow and a sinbin doesn’t equal a red but if you get a second sinbin then you’re out for ten minutes, after which your team can bring on an eleventh man but you can’t come back on yourself, and if you get two sinbins plus a normal yellow then you’re sent off but not given a red card.
What if a player gets subbed off during their timeout? Can they not be subbed off, does the player subbed on have to serve the rest of the time or does it just.. not happen? Also if a match ends during a player's timeout, do they have to finish it at the start of the next game?

Also like what happens if the goalkeeper gets a blue card 🧤 🟦 and if the goalkeeper gets one and leave the pitch for 10 minutes and he can’t be replaced with a new one and the other team scores like 8 or 9 goals 🥅 while the goalkeeper is off for 10 minutes and cannot be replaced with another goalkeeper so that’s why I don’t think the blue card rule is going to happen
If you find blue cards confusing it really shows how simple-minded football fans are compared to other sports fans. Sin bin cards are very common in many other sports like hockey, rugby, gaelic football, and etc.
The blue card is genuinely a good idea, people are just opposed to it because it's change, and they, like many, do not like change. In actuality, it provides referees with a middle-ground, it will help with indecisive moments and will also hopefully improve sportsmanship. Sin bins are a very common thing in many sports and tend to work very well, even in sports with less players or less total match time. Many things were added to football many years ago which at the time, was considered unnecessary and ruining the game, and are now considered a core part of football, football is a sport, and all sports evolve over time, people need to get used to it.

The blue card is about to influence the beautiful game as much as the VAR did
At least with VAR you understand why it's there. It's just applied terribly. Blue cards have no reason to exist
Ya, VAR as a tool isn't the problem, it's the tools of referees that are.

What makes the foul a yellow card, or a blue card?
It'll probably be given for middle-ground situations or where the ref is indecisive
@@striderwhiston9897 a blue is between a red and yellow, basically fouls that are too bad for a yellow but to soft for a red
