I heard of mother mother via tiktok , now even though their songs are no longer trending , i still enjoy them as much as i did the first time i heard them on tiktok , and in fact i discovered even more amazing songs beside the famous ones , like ghosting , thanks tiktok for making me know such an incredible band exists ✨

Mother mother is so good but it doesn’t feel the same anymore. This was my ex’s favorite song and she left too much of a mark on me and it’s been like 7 months I think and I’m still not over it. Almost way too often I get reminded of her and I can’t go on for the rest of the day even after what she did to me, I still would feel sympathy and don’t blame her for hurting me and never realizing it. Sometimes I get flashbacks of the things we did, the things she always sent me, how she always acted, her voice and mostly the breakup . I still remember every detail of her and I still can’t get over this I really wish I could have someone to talk to tbh. I can’t believe this all happened over some toxic manipulative person I thought I considered a friend. I still blame myself over and over again for everything that’s happened too and I just wish I never spoke up about how I felt and this never would’ve happened. Sometimes I even harm myself while remembering what happened too and I don’t know if I ever even can recover. I have so many unhealthy coping mechanisms over some stupid ex and there’s so many stupid things I wish I could admit or realize but I can’t because I continuously blame myself or others for everything that happened. I just want to see her one last time again and pretend nothing happened, I wish I changed sooner before she left.
Damn.. i really hope you're feeling better, it's understandable what you felt and still feel, once we start to love something when it ends it will always leave a mark on us, good or bad, we'll always remember it. The only thing it can change is the way we remember them, you're constantly growing so I'm sure one day you'll be okay even after remembering those memories. I'm really sorry if i said something wrong, english isn't my native language so it's hard to express what i want to say. I also hope you got some help and found someone to talk about how you felt and feel without being judged or misunderstood, you deserve to be happy. Stay strong!
