To your comment about garen: Korea is more about micro and earlygame fights, euw is more about macro and winning over time. Garen is more favored if you think in concepts of getting the most amount of farm and scaling rather than fighting. An example: Not joining a fight on grubs will lead to surrendering on the korean server. Not joining a fight as garen in euw will just stall the tempo letting the garen get in position or the jungler letting the grubs fall for an advantage elsewhere. Garen cant win because of the difference of mentality of players in Korea compared to euw. Thats also why differing metas exist. A lot of the meta is being able to read what other players what to achieve in what timescale and acting to achieve that, and of cause you also have strong stat sticks (champions) from previous buffs and champions that counters them.
This is true also if you even pick garen in korea there can be a person intentionally trying to lose in the lobby because he doesn't like garen (or any other champ). And they can just ban your pick.

that is not how timezones work at all. the patch is already 7 days old and Korea gets the patch a few hours earlier actually due to them being in the future. I know because I went there twice, you can also just google it. I think EU just enjoys the Garen Combo a bit more than KR.

Agurin's change to being less chill than he used to be is probably mostly a result from switching completely to English streams. The English community has way more toxicity and raging streamers, also because English viewers (especially Americans I'd say) seemingly like and enjoy that. The German scene on the other hand is mostly very chill and toxic people almost missing entirely

So Dzukill, Yamatosdeath, Dantes, and many more stopped playing the game cuz it's bad. I'm glad. I also feel miserable playing it, and i'm also a high elo player. And sunk cost fallacy is a tough pill to swallow. After so much time wasted i also had to to quit for my own good. But i feel bad about all the time i've wasted. But i guess you could say that i just loved playing the game back then when it was good.
