In the Shin-Kiba station... why is there a green arrow pointing left (Shiomi) when the train goes right (Kasairinkaioken) at 10:22 ... I think that's confusing.
Actually from Shibuya to Shinkiba (Hanzomon line and Yorakucho line operated by Tokyo Metro)and then transfer at Shinkiba station to Maihama station where Tokyo Disney Resort is (JR Keiyo Line operated by JR)Therefore, in this case you need to pay both to Tokyo Metro and JR (there may be slight fare discount in case of transfering beyond one train company) Bear in mind, in Japan especially Tokyo or Osaka areas, Train lines are operated by multiple companies even for going to the the same direction. If you want to stick to one company in this case or if you want to make the most use of Japan Rail pass, you have an alternative route as follows; Take JR Yamanote line to Tokyo station and then Keiyo line to Maihama station where Tokyo Disney Resort is. Both Yamanote line and Keiyo line are operated by JR and consequently you pay only to JR. I recommend you to use google map or play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.navitime.inbound.walk Remember in big cites in Japan like Tokyo, you may have options to go to the destination you want to go. To make it simpler, buying IC card such as Suica (issued by JR East)or Pasmo(issued by consociam of all other private railway/bus companies in greater Tokyo area)Refer to these, Suica www.jreast.co.jp/e/pass/suica.html#category01 Pasmo www.pasmo.co.jp/visitors/en/normalpasmo/ Note; Both Suica and Pasmo can be used most of the trains/buses, vending machines, shops, restaurants, with some exceptions such as Narita Express and Shinkansen by JR, Skyliner from Narita Airport operated by Kesei railway company. Also both can be used in other areas of Japan like Kyoto, Osaka, or Hokkaido.
I have the another way from shibuya to disneyland Ginza line to akasaka mitsule, and then marunochi line to tokyo sta. .and ride keiyo line until maihama.
As you can see he used a Suica/Pasmo card when he arrives to the Keiyo line of the JR rail ... the same you use for the underground. But i think you can pass throw the door in front of the station staff office in the far right (9:48) just showing them your JR Pass

In this Video, Starting 5:44am and Arrival 6:26am. already so-so crowed. It's a good time to get a train before 7:00am. If you would get a train from 8:00am to 9:00am, you will get a harsh lesson of capitalism.(commuter rush)
