Excellent, Sam. I was one of those "Old school " machinists, I felt like it was more rewarding ( not in pay) than trying to stay awake while watching a CNC do its work. I'm now a Vintage Machinist (retired).
The idea or concept for this interview is good, but better interviewing skills could have facilitated a much better and smoother flow of conversation and made the whole thing much more interesting.

Doing single take interviews, while jet lagged, is the worst part of the job.
Actually no, delayed flights are the worst part of the job. ;)
