- In this video tutorial, I show you how to play the intro to the 90’s country hit “No One Else On Earth” by Wynonna Judd! The gear used for this video is a 2010 Fender American Strat loaded with David Allen Texas Flood pickups into a 1967 Fender Bassman amp with a 1x12 cab. To get this tone, you’ll need some compression and delay. I am using the Wampler Ego compressor, Wampler Hot Wired for a little dirt, and the Boss DD-500 for delay. Enjoy!
Of the few youtube tutorials there are for this song, you are way closer on that riff than anyone else. Thanks for posting.
bro of COURSE you've got a lesson for this one. literally every new song that pops up in a new set list for me. you got it
More new content on the way too 👍
Steuart Smith played the part. Most likely on a 1966 Strat with EMG’s, Boss compressor, Boss Delay, and a Fender amp. He now plays with the Eagles.
This video is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks. Subscribed.
Love the stank face. Nicely played, man!
Thanks man! Great tone! This song popped up on my playlist at the gym this morning - I've been working on my triads and when i heard it I knew I needed to take a look and understand the lick. Thanks for relating the lick to the triads - that's the ticket right there. You here in Nashville?
Landon Cunningham hey thanks for the comment! I live about an hour east of Nashville, little town called Smithville.
@@ColtonRhody I'm from Cookeville but I live in Smyrna now. I go home every couple weeks. Fancy meeting you here. You know that part at the end is really cool too, I love the low voicing on those G, C , and F chords - took me a minute to figure out what you were doing. There's one part where you sweep a little or something coming off the F note maybe - it sounds so cool but I can't figure out what you did.
Great tutorial! Have you ever tried learning the chorus and solo parts to Lorrie Morgan’s “Watch Me?” Those fills have always fascinated me.
Somehow people have put an FSus4 in the pre-chorus but it’s really an Fm with the C in the root
I kept hearing that Bflat thinking it’s wrong and it is. If you have a keyboard play C A flat ( or G#) and F.
That second chord in the intro (F) has a G note ringing through it. Otherwise, sounds perfect
Can you do a lesson on Patty Loveless Blame It On Your Heart?
Yes, I’ve gotta learn this for a gig coming up, so I’ll put up a lesson over it for you! 🤘
@@ColtonRhody thanks so much, I love that song.
