Thank you so much! I got this game because I really liked the premise but had no idea how to do anything or how it worked, and every tutorial on UA-cam is basically an hour long playthrough tutorial. It’s like, just tell me how things work so “I” can play it!! Lol Now I know how a lot things work, thanks for the help.
The part where you said you cannot use melee attack on weapon when 2 spells are in effect is not true. You can bind a hotkey for basic attack on a melee weapon and still have 2 spells available.
The best video for getting to grips with this most charming and enchanting game, so thank you and bravo!! Playing on PS4 Pro this is a refreshing change from the likes of Ark and Conan Exiles. The magic system is really innovative and cool to use, though does takes some experimentation to get to grips with, which is where your video has greatly helped me. Thanks again!
I’m gonna edit the first part of this tutorial..when you are gathering things like fibers, don’t just throw them out...craft whatever armor you can with them, since the stats are random/generated, you could craft 3 different robes and one could be better than the others. At least it maximizes your exp gain early game.
Thanks for the great video! Pertaining to melee: there is a dedicated melee button at this point in the key binding menu. I think it is thumb mouse button or something like that by default.
Thank you for this comment! That is great to know, yes it is assigned to an extra mouse button by default and you can bind it to something else in the menu if you want.
when i got the game a few days ago and started playing the interface was different from a previous citadel forged with fire i played..probly an older version before.but struggled with getting the wand to gather resources but figured it out by accident with the spells section :P but can you for example if you find an creature you wanto tame and go thru the tame process and then juts put in like 15 pieces of meat.wil the tame time go up accordingly to the amount of meat?
I don't know exactly how the drop rate works unfortunately. Sometimes you can get magic find on items which will increase drop rates, but I have found that the items that you craft yourself will be much better to use. Every time you craft something the stats and rarity of the item are random, so I just keep crafting the same item until I get an orange Epic one. It doesn't seem to take that many tries to get an epic.
It is similar to that yes. I think Citadel isn't as deep as Ark yet, but I am really looking forward to see how they update the game because I enjoyed my time with it

Change you key binding to to melee attack with spells on a melee weapon
To get through lower levels you can craft tailoring benches starting at lvl 5 and they only take 30 wood and 15 rune shards and give 200xp

Weapon crafting would be useful. I just broke both of mine and i cant seem to craft any on the workbench. Like they dont even appear....

It's not a full MMO, but you play on a server with 40 players. You can do PVP or PVE as well. Its fun so far and I'm excited to see future updates

It is similar to that yes. I think Citadel isn't as deep as Ark yet, but I am really looking forward to see how they update the game because I enjoyed my time with it
