Our Rishis and saints have found that there is a definite connection between movement of planets and human conditions. Life is a mixture of good and bad events. Not only human beings, but countries and institutions have to pass through good and hard times. An astrologer well-versed in his science can exactly predict the destiny of a person, important events in his life on the basis of the planetary positions at the time of his birth. However, skeptics dismiss astrology as a fake science. For making exact predictions, training, knowledge and intuition are very important.
The causes of good and bad times in a person’s life can be explained in different ways. While a scholar in Dharma Sastra would explain it in terms of his karma, a psychologist might say his mental condition could have played a role. A necromancer might see the role of super natural forces. An astrologer will try to explain the situation on the basis of planetary positions. So what is the real reason? If you look at it objectively, you can see that all these have played a role.
According to Hindu shastras, the planetary positions at the time of our birth are determined by our karma in our previous births. This will in turn determine events in our lives. Through astrological calculations we can exactly forecast the future.
Rahu and Ketu are considered two strong planets as per the principles of Vedic Astrology, although, astronomically, they do not exist. Since Rahu and Ketu are believed to impact our lives strongly, they are a crucial part of Jyotish Shastra. They are denoted as mathematical points while making calculations in Vedic Astrology. The general explanation is that Sun represents the body whereas Moon represents the mind; hence, these incision points strongly affect the energies of these two parts of the body.
Generally, astrology mentions that Rahu represents indulgence. Some of the negative effects of Rahu are Mental illnesses, theft, losses, the death of family members, legal hassles, etc. It also represents diseases such as leprosy, skin diseases, breathing problems, ulcers, etc. Rahu is also behind the instant success or failure of a person. However, if Rahu is well placed, it can bestow the native with courage and fame.
The negative effects of Ketu can cause diseases related to lungs, ear problems, brain disorders, problems in the intestine, etc. It represents mystic activities, wounds, sufferings, bad company, false pride, etc. Ketu also stands for moksha, sudden gains, interest in philosophical pursuits, spiritual pursuits, etc.
There are lots of dos and don’ts due to the positions of Rahu and Ketu. Thus, with each problem of planetary effects in our lives, Vedic Astrology (Jyotish Shastra) promises to have convenient remedies.

కంటెంట్ విషయానికి వస్తే, మార్చి చివరిలో మా కుటుంబం శ్రీ కాళహస్తి కి వెళ్లి, రాహు-కేతు శాంతి జరుపుకున్నాం.
నాకు ప్రస్తుతం రాహు దశ జరుగుతోంది. మాకు బాగా తెలిసిన ఒక జ్యోతిష్కుడు నా జాతకం పరిశీలించి,
“రాహు దశలో ఏదైనా పొందడానికి చాలా కష్టపడాలి. కష్టం లేనిదే ఫలితం ఉండదు. కానీ ఏదైనా పని చేస్తే, ఆ ఫలితం జీవితాంతం ఉండిపోతుంది అంట. for example, ఒక స్థలం/ఇల్లు ఈ రాహు దశలో కొన్నాం అనుకోండి, భవిష్యత్ లో ఎపుడైనా అమ్మాలి అన్నా అమ్మలేము.”
అందుకే నేను తెలివిగా అలోచించి ప్రతి నెల స్టాక్ మార్కెట్ లో డబ్బులు ఇన్వెస్ట్ చేస్తున్న. ఇంకొన్ని నెలల్లో బెంగళూరులోనే ఒక స్థలం కొందాం అనుకుంటున్నాను.
పార్వతీ అమ్మవారు జడలో రాహు-కేతువులని ముడి వేస్కుని ఉంటుందంట. కాబట్టి, ఈ గ్రహ దోషం పోవడానికి హోమాలు, పూజలు అని డబ్బులు వ్యర్థం చేస్కోకుండా, నిత్యం అమ్మవారిని తల్చుకుంటూ, రోజు లలితా సహస్రనామం పారాయణం చేస్తే ఆ అమ్మవారే ఆదుకుంటారు అని నా భావన.
లలితా సహస్రనామం పారాయణం వల్ల ఎన్నో జీవితాలు నమ్మలేని విధంగా మలుపు తిరిగి బాగుపడ్డాయి.
