At 2:38 the bad apple kept looking from the teacher to the heroine. She intimated that something was awry. That made the teacher suspicious on the heroine.
The male teacher must be investigated for false accusations and suspended from his duties.

Dude this is happening during a bloody exam! There is no way a supervisor would allow anyone to continue with their sob story. They will just tell you to get back with the exam. Not to mention the guy walked over to the female lead to pass on his jacket. He was even overlooking her shoulder. That’s the whole point of shows so people can escape reality for a few hours, is it nice to add some real situations into shows to make the character’s more relatable..yes however if a show isn’t factual then it’s simply made for our entertainment which is nice to see the writers stories come to “life” on the screen. 😊

Why is it always the case that the perpetrator once found for evil deeds play the victim or take the "pity me" side or crying like the offended it's annoying to think that the classmates are brainless and idiots not to see her ploy. He also seemed to realize that she attempted to frame that girl but he's mad cause Shen Zhen dragged him into it and he wound up looking like a fool playing favorites.

😂😂😂I was going to make the same comment, but I read yours. I remember when my classmates was caught cheating. The notes were written so small on the cashier's back of grocery receipt, but the proctor still noticed it wedged on his wrist watch, but this is like the almanac, with so many pages, at that. 😂😂😂😂. What baffles me, seriously, is how convenient it is for the teacher to just focus on the one student, obviously as it turned out, he is in collusion with the so called "ace student". Both of them should be expelled.
It wasn't for actual use, it was just used to get caught, which seems obvious but it was a thick book so a teacher could maybe see it if they took a step back to see under all the desks, taped up with crinkly taped so if she shifted you'd hear the tape and again it's a thick book, the tape may not hold much longer. It is the worst way to cheat. I've know people to write down some answers on the eraser in fine print lol

Well, because he thought she had sabotaged the props and therefore hurt a student, it meant to him that she was totally able to cheat
He believed she sabotaged the props without getting adequate evidence just like he was willing to believe she could cheat without carefully looking into it. Checking BEFORE the test is his job. Clearly he knew to check for it during the testing period. By the way, how unfair to the rest of the students. Tests are always timed and everyone has a right to the full time to show what they are capable of doing. So this ignorant and foolish teacher cheated the whole class. He was the cheater, not the FL.

when I was in HS. I grew up with this girl that was everyone’s teacher’s pet. She was a straight A student because she cheated all throughout Junior High and HS. In 11th grade we had French Class. And on the first weekwe had a test. I got a B and the teacher called my parents and said I must of cheated. Even though I had a B- the previous year and this was just the first test.
My parents told the tech to GTH because my Parents knew I didn’t give a crap about my grades and wasn’t hyper competitive, I was happy getting Bs. As long as I wasn’t failing they didn’t give a crap either. I was a,ways in the top 10 percent. The teacher’s pet is the one who had the amswer key.
This is one of the most pitiful female leads I’d seen. Poor her, bullied all throughout the drama.

One wonders why she's a favorite with this male teacher. Just because of good grades? Comes from wealthy family who can help or hurt his career? Because she flirts with him? I agree. Ye Miao's statement, "Shen Zhen, you are not that kind of person" is untrue. Nevertheless, he may have been asking her to reflect on herself in the hopes that she'd see she didn't want to continue to be "that kind of person." She was incapable of benefitting from his statement, and indeed continued and remained evil and selfish. I'd hate to meet her 55-years-old version; it's scary to think what she will become in the future is she's willing to be so unkind, unfair, and persistent as a student!
