As always very informal....thank you Michael for the lesson
That hig ol 6s heavy pack flies light and beautifully in the ultimate amr 60
I actually Don't use that. The AMR 60 I use 2 2600Mah, 3 cell in series to make 2600mah 6s
We tend to forget that capacity is milliamps. Per hour. Our flights and motors consume so much amperage, that we reach safe discharge in 6 minutes 1/10 of an hour. That draw is not constant either, depending on the craft and flying style there many be different burst of amperage, (really watts amps x volts). This is why the other "C" rating which is of burst capacity may be higher between craft.
A 5lb plane consumes less watts and has potentially fewer and less bursts than a 5lb heli
Enjoyed your discussion. Also would like to see a comparison between std. and HV Lipos to know if those are worth using...👍
They are. I have been using the SMC HV batteries. ITs crazy how long I keep mid-high range voltage.
The smc hv packs are Def worth it and you will notice quite a difference the others I've never tried and never seen anyone with any
0:48 No, That means it is 2.6 amp hours. Ah is energy storage capacity. Amps is an instantaneous measurement of current.
This is designed to be an introduction video. Don't confuse the novice immediately by mixing up this basic terminology.
