What a great tour (and name 😊, mine is the same). I loved all the memorable touches (kitty paw impression, family photos). The dog showing up in the dining room right as Kristin said that room never got messed up and nobody went in there was priceless. ❤ "Trendy becomes tacky" was such a great reminder. First time my husband joined me on the sofa to watch an episode of Homeworthy. I asked him if he liked the house and he said “oh yessssss!” Truth be told, he was mesmerized by the dress! Kristen you are stunning, your house is beautiful and your dress is fabulous- and apparently my hubby agrees !!

Very pretty girl. The staff or camera people could clearly see the dress was a problem and some of the shots were inappropriate, obviously they were either all men or didn't care enough to mention this. Any caring person would have politely said something to her because she sounds extremely sweet and genuinely didn't know. We have all experienced a situation where we were thankful someone took the time and cared enough to tell us. I don't blame the young girl and feel horrible for her. Homeworthy should be ashamed! I'm sure she was excited about this opportunity and her house was absolutely beautiful as well as her dress, it just was not cooperating in this situation. Come on! the focus here should be the people behind the camera and they did an unjust service to her and they know it!!!
Again…the no accountability era. She wore a dress you wear on a trip to Savannah in the summer for a home tour. I think it was done for this very reason. An attempt at a viral moment. She knew what she was doing.
I know zero about fashion, but to my uneducated eye, the only "problem" is the sleeves. The bodice and skirt and color and fit are lovely! Remove the sleeves, use a bit of that fabric to make shoulder straps, and keep looking fabulous! Kristin, your home looks beautiful while still seeming comfortable and accessible. I really enjoyed your use of color and mixing family mementos and pictures and kid's art!
Not to reopen the pandora's box but I felt her dress was the perfect summer dress. It fit the light airy mood of the home. It's one of the cons of off the shoulder dresses. You simply can't predict when something will go south. Probably best worn to a garden party or the beach with a big straw hat and pretty sandles. Beautiful lady and gorgeous home. The color palate was so calm and relaxing. It really showcased the warm wood tones and vintage pieces.
Who was the artist who did the cat and dog? I would love to commission a piece for my daughter. I watched that segment 3 times and all I could understand was “Frank”. A Google search of Atlanta artists named Frank didn’t help. Thanks!
