Gaz: Pistol. Especially the Glock18C. Light weight polymer with a large magazine compacity and can switch to full-auto and semi with a flick. Not to mention is faster to draw then reloading your main weapon.

But also in the 1770s, among the soldiers in british india were a hunter skilled enough to kill that it was dubbed a "sniper". But that term was attested in 1842 in the sense of the word "sharpshooter"

Back in 1800s they used to be called sharpshooters or marksman because the modern word Sniper was first used in World War 1 because rifles became more advanced and modern being fitted with scopes

Bolt action rifles were once the standard infantry weapons in both World War 1 and World War 2, most of the armies that took part Allied and Axis were armed with them like the Lee Enfield or Mosin Nagant.
And due to time and how much semi rifles improved they went out of service which is good
I think gaz itself would be LMG as his favorite weapon

Yes. I love SMG. Especially when it has offense and defense.
I wish Laswell ask Gaz about shotgun on pump action or semi auto. But there’s no semi auto shotguns in this game unlike Cold War where you have the spaz-12 semi auto shotgun.

quite shame that there didn't have pistol option(semi auto or revolver) , explosive option(grenade launcher or rocket launcher ), blade weapon option(combat knife, machete, tomahawk).

Yeah... I'm not watching that ghillie suit comparison from two highly-trained snipers.
aren't semi-auto snipers and DMRs the same thing?
Not quite, semi-auto sniper rifle specializes at long - very long distance to pick of targets, while possibility to be hidden with having a suppressor and subsonic ammo. Can pick off multiple targets aswell if you are skilled shooter.
As for DMR, which stands for Designated Marksman Rifle, is designed for medium to long range, being able to subtain firepower and bring higher ground to you favor. Also usually meaning you can go for higher rate of fire in heat of action.

Actually Battle Rifles are designated as DMR (Designated Maskmen Rifle) which uses Full length Battle Rifles rounds 7.62×51mm
For example M21 EBR is a DMR
H&k 417 is a battle Rifle but designated as DMR
