Am I the only one who noticed that the ones listed and the ones discussed aren't even the same??? The list says #1 is the Sun Oven, for example, which isn't even mentioned, while the #1 in the video is the GoSun!! Really shoddy work, dude!!
I noticed the same and was confused. Especially since the Sun Oven wasn't mentioned but is pictured on the post and listed as #1 on the list. I have heard more buzz about it than the others and wanted to see how it was reviewed here. ..
The panel cookers cook very differently than the tube cookers. You wouldn't want to cook biscuits in the panel cookers. And I find stews tasting better in the panel cookers. That's because the temperature gradually rises which is good for blending ingredients without loosing it to stem. While tube cookers have a tendency of boiling into stem, which practically burn off any mending flavor. So just think of the tube as an air fryer. If we bake food at a intensive heat and give it that crisp. But unlike the parabolic it would cook the food internally making the food taste well done. While the panel will make this same thing taste somewhat soggy and rubbery. Let's take a chicken nugget. If there one thing that cooks nuggets well it is the tube. These chicken nuggets like instant high surrounding temperatures. The oven is good too big t not as crispy. The oven not display here is between the panel and tub. But it takes forever to cook beans. Tube. I had to refill the pans several times, because it gets evaporated before it could finish. So I say for beans if you have time, oven and panel (on a full sunny day and no wind). Or the parabolic if you you don't care about flavor as much. I have produced a lot of good beans broths using just the parabolic. But nothing even comes remotely better than the roadpro, which is not even a solar cooker. I think the reason why the roadpro cooks the beans so we'll is 1), the space is more confined, so the heat gets trapped so the flavor doesn't really escape. 2) And it is why faster and more consistent with the temperature it provides.
All American solar oven can't be beat. My next is parabolic cooker. Yes! It's very big, but reliable. With the 3 tubes in this review, you have to have a certain level of skill to use them. They will break if you are not careful. I don't believe any of those panel cookers can get anywhere to 500 F. Not even the All American Solar Oven can get this hot. The only cookers that can get this hot is the tube and the parabolic.
The first two are similar to what i have. If it gets 300 degrees you're doing good. Temperature gauge is for that end so temp isn't accurate for deep inside but still works great.
get a free Styrofoam cooler and make a circle of foil glued to cardboard around it to catch the sun. One of those shiny $1 car windshield covers or reflectix insulation will work even better. It will save you hundreds of dollars, does the same as these fancy expensive products and you can make whatever size you need instead of taking 3 hours to cook 1 hot dog in the tiny sun tubes they are selling.
Respect these things I have burned my breast twice in 2 days tilting even the smallest go SUN go when carrying it and juices from meat spilled on me needless to say blister stage burn. Yes they do get up to 550 degrees dont doubt this is on a table be careful and use a heat glove.
most of these are expensive and useless! Cut a hole 1 inch rectangle in a pringle chips can along the spider leaving an inch on each side. It's already lined in foil. put a tiny hole in the center of the bottom and another in the center of the lid. put a skewer or stick through the middle of a hot dog. place the stick through the bottom hole, then through the lid.there. you have a suspended hot dog cooking in a free oven from a potato chip can. if you have a piece of foil or foil bubble wrap, even a mirror, to put under the can, it will cook in minutes.
If you need to find out about these ovens go somewhere else, the person is only reading literature put out by companies and actually haven't used them personally.
❤️ yes. everything is all about making money now. great mongering, links in description where they get a %, jerk tube sucks now. You don't know who is giving valid info or who is doing/saying whatever just to make money.

What material did you use?

This is an amazing list of solar ovens. But I thought this was going to be a DIY video for showing us how to Make a solar oven ourselves.😄
There are several videos on UA-cam that show how to make your own solar ovens.

Did I miss something? Where is the Sun Oven All American listed at 8:13
The vacuum tube cookers look so quick & easy to use & small to carry. But if they break you will have noting.

The oven in the thump nail wasn’t even featured? I hate clickbait

Before you do a review, please learn the difference between the Gosun Sport and the Gosun Go.

No prices..😕
Go sun has all size ovens
buy what ever you want

#1. Evidently is very breakable even in it's protective case.
where the pressure release valve it bomb without one
I have 4 GoSun Go's....and other solar cookers including a couple DYI funnel cookers.
If you need to find out about these ovens go somewhere else, the person is only reading literature put out by companies and actually haven't used them personally.
Checkout the Nichols Tracking Solar oven.
GoSun Go is too small. The bigger ones are not that portable. The video does not differentiate the smaller and bigger ones.
The first two look identical and he says the exact same thing for both
Mister Max 👍
So... a box and some foil. I'm kind of surprised anyone would actually BUY one, when it appears a 5-year-old could make one.

Gosuns are trash they break if you drop them,we used 5 lightly and broke immediately
None of them are working as described. You just promote them for your comission
#2 then the #1. #3 is so small.
2:01 wtf is that dude doing
He didn’t actually try any of these
