OMG, I could HUG you!! The most influential radio broadcast I ever heard - I taped it at the time and then (for some unknown reason) I dubbed it onto another cassette in MONO! I have been looking for a STEREO copy of the Kiss broadcast for a long time, so I can't tell you how much it means to actually have this source. Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou...!!!
been looking for this for 30 years. there's one that they did with the music to The Emerald Forest with bits of Peter Gabriel and other stuff mixed in, amazing 🙏🏼
Outstanding remember listening to this many many years ago, did have from Fsol site , when available, Please upload other Fsol kiss 100 and any BBC transmissions . Superb , thank you There are still out there ! Peace
Thanks so much for this. I was able to compare it to another set of four mp3s floating around whose date is difficult to determine. The text file included confuses them with Transmission 1 (26 December 1992) but the first track starts with Ramirez/Pizzaro and continues through to Don Carlos before another mix is brought in. I haven't been able to determine whether the other three mp3s are recordings of other FSOL Kiss transmissions. The second mp3 is simply called "FSOL mix," the third: "Leftfield mix," and the fourth: "unknown mix."
Its hard to put it under a single genre :) I explain it as organic ambient electronic - and in this particular mix series I’d add something like FSOL explore the underground italian electronic scene :)
Cyberface / Yage dialogue is not from a movie - its actually a live recording with audio-filters where Cobain/Dougans talk in between the mixes. There’s also a theory that all the talk was done by Cobain with 2 different voice filters to make it sound like 2 people talking :)
this was 92.... they predicted so much... truly the future... i never stopped listening to these mixes on my walkman :)
Stu Siney still listen to Them now best gym music imo
8:22 is now called Running Thunder, it got a bandcamp release a couple of years back under that name

- First heard that one in Toronto, of all places. Have you been to Toronto, Yage?
- No. And neither have you.
Explain yourself Yage. You're blowing my mind. Perhaps you mean it was like a trip of some other kind.

Also where is the cyberface dialogue from, is it a film?
