We live in Maine and have our entire lives. Summertime months June, July or August are the months Lobster is the least expensive and we have the most beautiful weather. My family usually only eat Lobster for special occasions ( Mother's day, independence day, Labor Day, etc). You would love all the seafood Maine has to offer. Fried clams, scallops, lobster, haddock & shrimp made in all sorts of delicious ways. My personal favorite are the lobster Rolls. And Maine is also known for Whoopie pies. We enjoy watching your videos. We watch your entire family on UA-cam.
We did a family vacation in Boston and traveled up the coast of Maine. The Northeast coast is gorgeous! I have traveled a lot of places and lived in Florida most of my life, but I can honestly say the best seafood I have ever had was in Maine and Boston.❤️❤️❤️
Another fun and very informative video. I can almost smell and taste your food, yummmmy. I agree that the large K would be great in the entry way, painted black cant wait to see your completed RV reno. Take care and keep on sharing yourselves with us, you two are such good company. Sending BIG LUV from OZ xo
I Love the chemistry between you both, and that makes a difference, in my opinion. You both are just such s delight to watch, and always making me smile! (Such naturals on Video) 💖
I'm in Maine. I can just speak for myself, but buying lobster is a special meal for myself and my family. They're not too expensive right now. $9.99/pound. Sometimes for the fourth of July, I'll buy some and treat myself. Back in the old days (LOL) lobster was actually considered as a poor man's food as they are "bottom feeders" in the ocean. Now, it's a delicacy. New England is beautiful in the Fall with the changing of the leaves and colors. Summer time is always extremely busy with vacationers. Boothbay Harbor, Maine is a beautiful area to visit. Bar Harbor, Maine is another tourist spot but, myself, I enjoy Boothbay much more. There's a great family owned company that does lobster/clam bakes. It's out of Boothbay Harbor and called Cabbage Island Clam Bake. The boat ride out to the island is a narrated ride is really good. It's a great day trip and you're given a true Maine clam/lobster bake. They're steamed right there in seaweed. It's an experience all in itself. July and August are great times for a visit. The weather is beautiful and the tourist towns are in full swing.
You all are such a cute and fun couple. Love your videos because of the loving vibe you give off and because your content is always fun too! Up north, we call them Jalepeno Poppers but they are deep fried and without the bacon wrap. Those look good, but, you got to really love your jalepenos with the peppers being that big. Don't know if I could eat a whole one. I'm guessing that jalepenos are probably in a lot of your food because of how close you live to the border, but, Robert may have grown up eating a lot of jalepenos due to his Mom being Mexican. I know Dan loves jalepenos and PawPaw likes his food a bit spicy hot! Anyway, I enjoyed your video! I always love seeing the foods that people in other states eat more frequently. For me coming from WV, pepperoni is very popular and especially pepperoni rolls (rolls filled with pepperoni, and some even add cheese and marinara sauce.) These came to be a thing in WV from the Italian immigrants who came to work in the coal mines there. They could take them in their little, miner lunch buckets and could eat them by hand and they were something simple but contained their meat and cheese and weren't messy to eat , are eaten by hand, were easy to make and could be stored without refrigeration. They sell them in most convenience and grocery stores there and they sit out on the shelves. You can also buy them done more elaborately in restaurant. I know Robert came from WV, did he eat pepperoni rolls there?
Rob that was a great deal on the bacon!! I would have done the same thing. The Texas Twinkies looked delicious ❤️❤️. Thank you for sharing. Have a wonderful weekend ❤️❤️
Love when people talk real about groceries and budgets. Make you seem like real people. Grocery prices are crazy. If you go in an buy whatever you got to be well off
Jeez, Robert, I'm a blonde haired Catholic Slovak college cheerleader. BUT, are you sure we're not related? Tina could be my sister, & & ALL the food you two cook is exactly what I'd make. Oh, AZ girl, Mexico is our neighbor. Can't wait to try these twinkies. So much better than the sweet ones! Lol. Go '49ers! I hope you vid what you are making for Super Bowl 🏈 LOVE ☦️ your family. 🙏🏻 many prayers 🙏🏻 Nurse Judi in Scottsdale AZ and Eucharistic Minister.
I just love you guys you're adorable! So funny how you guys banter back and forth and give each other a little teases. You guys are a great team and you can tell it's a very healthy relationship. You guys are really lucky and I wish I could have been there to eat those Texas Twinkies with y'all❣️
Jamie and Lester, Tina and Rob, you are my absolute favorite couples. Rob you sorta got Lester beat a little, you like to cook. You are too sweet you two..❤❤
Yes Tina Rob is so very handsome ❤❤he could be a heart throb!!!😊 Love the cooking with you both y'all make delicious looking food wish I could taste it!! Love ya both enjoy you both❤❤❤
Hi Tina and Rob, I’m not a pepper fan, but those certainly seemed like they would be good. The lobster was calling my name! My sister lives on the coast in New Hampshire, and my husband spent every summer of his youth in Maine. My son also spent a week of summer vacation working on a lobster boat. That’s hard work! If I was you, I would travel New England in September. The leaves change into the most amazing colors. And lobster is reasonably priced. There’s nothing like Maine lobster, and the lobster rolls are delicious! God bless you all, I really enjoy your videos! From Canadice NY ❤
You two are so interesting, no matter what you're doing, I love to watch. As for the lobster, I live in New Hampshire, and yes, it's readily available, but pricey. Funny thing is, I'm a New England native, but I don't like it. Hard shells are "in season" November - June, but I wouldn't visit in the winter. ☃ I think May or June would be the best time to visit and Maine is known for their lobster.
This was such a fun video... you two are such a great & cute couple!!💞 I'm smiling so much after viewing this that i have tears in my eyes.. seriously!😂 It's wonderful that you enjoy each other's company & companionship so much that you are very happy to have date nights at home. And the food looks delicious!😋 What a great buy on the healthy bacon also..wow! Have never heard of Tx Twinkies, but they sound extra special! 👏 Really love your kitchen/ cooking videos! Keep up the great work, & thanks for a fun, light hearted video, & the smiles & laughs you bring. Tony is a star🌟 as usual...so cute!❤🐶

I’m from Ohio and I make something sorta like those, except I have never stuffed them with brisket, but sounds good! I do cream cheese and shredded cheese and wrap with bacon. They are so good! I love hot spicy stuff! Love watching you two cook! Nothing like a good Friday date night. ❤- now I have to go buy some jalapeños and stuff to make for the Super Bowl! I even like them cold left over the next day!
I absolutely love you guys and the page. I think the K in the RV is a fabulous idea it will be perfect!!! You tell tbem Rob you dont the pot you dont eat beans!!!!

Good morning Tina and Rob. Poppers are what they are called here. Basic same recipe but the meat is whatever you want. Never ever had one not a jalo pepper eater. Thanks for sharing and hope you have a great Saturday.
Norma here. I’ve never heard them called Texas Twinkies, but that’s a cool name. It’s great how you have so much fun together. Tina, I’m with you. We had the kids. 😅😅. I have to use that one on my husband. No clean pot, NO beans. You tell ‘em Rob. lol.
the lobster men trap year round-----soft shell lobster (in the warmer months is sweeter than the hard shell (cooler months)---the soft shell are easier to crack open---the states you want to visit are Maine/New Hampshire/Massachusetts
We live in Upstate NY. We go to Maine every October just, when is just becomes off season & the weather is still nice enough to enjoy walks on the beach we usually go to the Wells / Old Orchard beach area. Honestly anywhere on the coast of Maine or Cape Cod would be enjoyable😊
Tina and Rob, I have one of those jalapeno holders that holds 50 jalapenos. I stuff them with sharp cheese and wrap them in bacon and cook them in the oven for 35 mins. I will have to try them y'alls way and see with is better. Have a blessed day and take care.

I go to Maine every year, I also lived there for two years. The best time is June through September. Do you know what area you want to go? I go to Well on Route 1 on the coast. I visit Kittery, NH for outlet shopping, Ogunquit, York, Moody, Kennebunkport home of the Bush Family and where Walker’s Point their compound is. Mmmm, YUM!!! I'm all for trying Texas Twinkies!! Similar to Jalapeno Poppers, but... different. And you mix beef brisket in with cream cheese, right? Oh boy, I can't wait to make these! I love listening to the stories you both tell while you're in the kitchen whipping something up! Thanks Tina & Rob for the very cool video! ❤️ and good vibes 💫 to you from Jo in Michigan 🌊❤️
Boy! I bet those “twinkies” were delicious. You need to post the recipe so we can all enjoy them. See y’all on Wednesday. Can’t wait to see what y’all have up your sleeves. Love y’all….♥️😘♥️
Uh Oh Robert, You Aren’t The Pot Cleaner You Are The Pot Stirrer 🫣😂👊🏼 JK Loved The Texas Twinkies. You All Make The Most Delicious Looking Food. Have A Great Week. ❤️🙏🏼
Pay attention to the expiration date on sale items. There's a reason it's cheap. Try mixing breakfast sausage and shredded cheese, bacon wrap, cook and then baste with bbq sauce. Those are known as shotgun shells.
Summertime is the best time to visit New England. Maine is an awesome place for seafood. Anywhere along the coast of New England. Lobster Rolls, fried clams, streamers, and try a New England clam boil. New England welcomes you.

Good Afternoon Tina and Rob another great video... I'm from Cape cod and I don't really care for Lobster..just me my whole family likes it. Lobster is a special occasion thing Birthdays Mother's day Fourth of July
The Texas Twinkies looked delicious! Neither me nor my hubby are “cooks” but we love to eat! I like spicy, but hubby can not tolerate. The first time I made chili for him, the roof of his mouth started to bleed...yes, that’s right. So, ever since then, I take a bite first and then tell him yes or not to eat. (50 years come July). Hubby from Massachusetts and he always talk about New England seafood, but I love the Maryland & Virginia seafood. Enjoy!
Love both of you. Tina he is a keeper.😅

Bacon is really expensive! I googled it and it's between $6.99 and $7.99 a pound, and there was some very good reviews! 💞
Robert I love the shiplap, it makes things look fresh and beautiful! 🙂
