Looking for resources to make 10 thick leather to upgrade Forge to lvl 4. That and Dismantling workbench and Well are last to lvl 4 before starting Repair bench and the rest to lvl 5. Also may start upgrading storage(all lvl 1).

is it even possible to progress decently in the game as a f2p ;? and it gets much boring as we move forward as well, like almost all the tiers 1,2,3,4,5,6 are all the same(just UI changes), even the outposts and all

Yes to a point. After about the time you clear Rocky Pass to the cold north buying some weapons/clothes and other items is necessary. Spending is a small part of the game over time, except epic and tier 6. That stuff requires more. The game is not much of a money trip compared to many of the other games online.
