😂 I loved their rivalry.
Rivalries like this one is why I was brought back into watching and enjoying WWE in 2011 and 2012.
He had potential my mom liked his accent alot
He had grown on my by the end of 2011. Loved his late 2011 theme. And then he got hurt before Wrestlemania 28. Returned in 2012 and was a freaking beast. Unfortunately it didn't last and was repackaged in 2013 and returned as BNB. I believe he was supposed to win MITB in 2014, but unfortunately he was injured again. Won the IC Title 5 times in 5 years, and was a King of the Ring in 2015. Really hate that the injuries prevented him from being the first ever English World Champion. I'm glad he's back at least.
I can only imagine how Wade Barrett's push would have gone if not for that injury. Perhaps he would have been on course to win a World Title instead of 5 Intercontinental Championships. It's painful to watch certain superstars not live up to their full potential due to one circumstance or another.

They should slowly extend Barret’s role from being a commentator to also being a ringside manager as well like a mouth piece. He’s great on mic!

I really liked wade barret. Everytime he came on my screen when I was a kid, I always enjoyed watching him wrestle and talk.
I think he should’ve got a push when they semi repackaged him and he came back with the beard and changed his finisher to the bullhammer
One things that's consistent, is that Randy tries his hardest to put young talent over.
Wade Barrett had so much potential to be a big star. Such a shame his potential truly was never realized and had so many disappointing results and that. Truly hope he can have one last run nowadays, but if he wants to never return in ring, I’ll respect it.
I literally went to the Smackdown after Barrett threw Randy down the stairs. Was pissed i didnt get to see Orton live.🤣🤣🤣
I remember watching that Randy vs Barrett last man standing match on Smackdown as a kid and the moment he threw Randy off the steps I thought Randy was dead.

The push was at its prime in 2010 in my opinion...he got many world title matches ,ppv main events,and great presentation just that wwe failed to pull the trigger...in 2011 it was going downhill

Barrett and Alberto were huge missed opportunities to be foreign stars.
Barrett should’ve succeeded with the Nexus and then pushed to be champion beating guys like Cena and Orton and then losing the title whenever the Nexus got booked to split. And Del Rio despite being a world champion, was still an L because he should’ve had a way slower push. Had he not been pushed so soon, specially inserted in the Punk vs Cena feud, they could’ve made him a world champion top star. I would have him beat Jack Swagger as champion at WM 29 in the “Real American” feud.
Too many stars fumbled around those early 2010s.
If you notice in 2009-12 wwe started giving random quick pushes to new guys, without building them up properly to connect with fanbase .....delrio, Sheamus, Jack swagger etc
