Love it! So inspiring! Keep at it folks!
This is hard work. Respect.
Thank you JM! I am curious about the drying portion of the L shaped process. Do the veggies get weighed after drying? Are they spun dry? Air dried too? Or are the veggies okay without drying before going in the cooler? Thanks for the wonderful videos. Chuck in Florida.
Yes. Drying I was expecting.
Wowee! Who are you!
Merci JM. Quelle variété de carottes avez vous semée pour une si belle récolte?
Hey JM , I think you said you guys are harvesting 1000 at the Old Mill. I’m confused about this quantity? 1000 lbs?? I’m interested to know, how much does it cost you for the crew from La Gralinette for harvest day?

Loved the harvest, every day folks think this is easy. Well not for market growers you have to count on your people to do it right.
Borch😂😂😂😂😂
Whenever i sow a row of carrots with my single row seeder the germination is terrible. Question: Why is this?
more water, adjust seed depth if too shallow
I've had issues if the seed depth is too deep, but, shallower seeds means more watering to ensure it never dries out during germination
Just to add to what the others have said, a fleece row cover can really help with germination
Most likely the soil is not staying moist enough. This is why we like to put a row cover directly on the soil and water over it when seeding carrots. It makes a huge difference in keeping the soil moist throughout the germination period.
@@TheMarketGardeners Thank you very much, I will try this and hope for better!
JM says they had the hottest day on record. Meanwhile, where I live, it's been unseasonably cool, which has been nice as these are typically brutally hot days.
I sure hope "climate change" continues to give me 75 F days in July.
Loving the climate change over here in BC too. Mild and somewhat rainier than past years. Gotta have a good excuse to control all the resources and keep taxing the plebs into debt slavery.
