have you hunted the area around aqueduct park...and do you see any possibilities in the area where north beach amusement park was- I know it is mostly concrete near the airport
Hello! Uk metal detectorist here. New to the channel great content great guy. If your equinox is running low on juice while on the beach/field you can always use a battery bank to charge while you keep on swinging! Also saw you where having trouble changing your detector in a past video, try using a phone charger as long as it doesn’t exceed 2Amps you will be fine! Charging with 1 amp devices will literally take twice as long compared to 2amp plug. Keep up the good work hope this helps.
DO IT! The equipment will pay for itself with use. The process of metal detecting is my mindfulness activity. At first you feel the eyes of others looking at you but you realize in time that it is not a scornful or even critical thing. People are curious and you’ll learn to smile and answer questions and you’ll be comfortable almost anywhere. For me it was the “awkwardness” that made me wait as long as I did to start metal detecting. I’m glad I made that decision to try. I hope you do too.
That park would drive me silly crazy! Love it! Ihop! Woohoo! Nice merc. Your buddys killing it with the skeleton key! Look at that fish...gross lmao! Whoops, sorry, kids might be reading these. Awesome hunt! Jackpots killing it with the Atpro dude! Love these videos merrill!
Only Love for you, Brother. No new age funk here, but I get a good vibe from you. I'm binging on all your beach videos. I'm pretty good with park hunting, but I can spend 5 hrs at the Great Lakes beaches and come home with nothing but broken sunglasses and nuts and bolts. Ugh 😩. In fact, one of the beaches I search has history of prehistoric peoples buried within what had (centuries later) become farmland. I'm so fascinated with the history of this area, albeit the ancient shoreline would be probably 100 or more yards further out than the current shoreline.
Join us next time!!!!!! We might be going back this weekend. Jonathan has a diesel left hemisphere of his brain he is very often the organizer of these excursions.
Your find are killing me! I’ve gone out to local schools & a few public parks near me but haven’t found nearly the amount of coin , but pull tabs ? Oh the pull tabs🤣
Merril great video! What were the years on all your coins! One of the kids stole one of indian head pennies!! 😂 I found 10 came home with 9. 1874,1878,1899,1900,1902, 4 blank, V nickel 1898, 2 blank buffalos, fun hunting for sure.
Metal Detecting NYC omg thats awesome.funny story.. there is an old asylum by my house and last fall when i first got my detector i got a signal there and i got a metal thing shaped like a coin. ive shown it on here and brought it to different coin sellers and i cant get a positive id on it. its eloise insane asylum here in michigan. they made a low budget movie about it. they were giving tours around halloween time. but i think they have sold it to a new owner and they plan on tearing it down. its in michigan if you want to look it up!👍😊
Thank you JoeMoe Moe. The reason that I am making them long is because youtube is asking its content creators to go for retention time. Total is slightly more important than percentage. In other words an hour video with a 25% retention time is more valuable than a 2 minute video with a 90% retention time.

Great collaboration hunt Merrill. You guys had some amazing finds! I still want to hit Dead Horse Bay someday!
Tell us when! Future collab!
If you don’t know what it is it still nice?! You get to interpret that! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
What a hoot when you all stand around admiring a find with your detectors chirping like a 1970s tv show computer.
😆
Great Video, love that place.
