Hey there, I've got anran cameras. I can see the picture in the preview boxes. But on the main screen, it says encode not support. And there is no picture. Do you know what the problem is? I'm trying to connect it to the dvr. The dvr wont let me change anything in the encode settings.

Allfacts, we can only offer direct support on the hardware we carry. Generally speaking this indicates a signal type mismatch. You would need to contact the manufacturer of the cameras for further advice on what signal type they are using, and if it is changeable. This is something that is usually done from a dipswitch on a camera, or from the cameras OSD-on screen display.
I would again highly recommend reaching out to Anran to see if they can assist with this information. Compare it to what your DVR supports and see if it is compatible, it may not be.
