As just one of the viewers has said, I agree that we shouldn't make any assumptions about her departure. It's just to me it's impossible that the decision was made today, as the company must have tried to understand the reason for her departure and probably made effort to make her stay. So I believe that she has also notified the members earlier. Anyways, as many fans are, I'm sad as she is such a charming performer and definitely an ACE of the team

Jinni has said on bubble that she was feeling depressed not too long ago, as well as some other members. With all the hate they’ve received i wouldnt be surprised if this life was taking a toll on them. This was clearly not something that was discussed in one day. I hope shes feeling okay
agree, i felt like they all tried to make her stay so bad. But she made final decision and they had to announce her departure after a long discussion. But i love jinni so bad 😭
They should have made effort on their music instead...i dont want to be mean but if JYPE gave them atleast decent songs they wont recieve so much hate...i would feel awful too if i trained for 6 years and was given shit songs...
Didn't her recent Bubble messages say that she was excited about Nmixx's next comeback? As in, she was enjoying being in Nmixx. Following this logic, and her time with JYPE, it sounds more like JYPE ousted her. I do not know how JYPE deals with members leaving a group, as if haven't read what JYPE said yet, but it seems like they are not going to be as stupid as, say, Blockberry and piss off their fanbase by stating said reason, if indeed it was their decision.
I read something akin to 'nmixx, disbandment' and for a min I thought Nmixx was disbanded altogether. Hopefully this doesn't mean other members will want to leave the group. One thing, and if I was to hazard a guess, I'd say they argued over contracts. That's really the only thing that makes sense here.
All those years of sacrifice, being a trainee losing your childhood just to suddenly quit not even a year into your debut? There has to be a good reason behind this.
Being an idol is a full time job and just like any job people can make mistakes in choosing what they want to do. Some people stick with the same job even though it makes them miserable and some people decide to go do something else that they enjoy doing. All through my early childhood, high school, and college I only saw myself as a programmer, it was my dream job. Something that I worked very hard to prepare for, for many years. And when I finally got that kind of job, I did it for a few years and realized I was dreading going to work everyday. Spend all my time fixing other people's careless and sloppy mistakes in their code is not something I wanted to do. Most programming jobs at big companies are basically janitorial position where you trying to get somebody else's poop (crappy code) go down the toilet. I wanted to create my own stuff and help people solve problems and make their lives easier, but most people work in programming end up spend many more years maintaining code than they do building new things. I didn't want to be spending a lot of time learning new programming languages every few years to stay up to date on the latest fads. Changed to another job in IT, Tech Support and then later Cloud Architect for a higher wage, and I've been very happy and I have never looked back. Except to reflect on how silly I was to think Programming was something I actually wanted to do. There are people that were born to be idols, and people that dream of being idols, work very very hard to make it happen only to realize later it's not something they actually want to do.

Overworked/stressed/constantly practicing/singing/dancing/choreography/waking up early/working late/20hr days.. Imagine hating ur 9-5 job vs a KPOP idol working 6 days a week. Plus all the constant criticism/lack of success pulls u down into depression/mental exhaustion. 6 years training, missing out on childhood/friends/family life.. being and idol isn't a glamourous life u think it is.

I really hope people don’t send her hate, or even send hate to the members & the company. There must have been a legitimately good reason as to why she decided to quit. We should respect her privacy, and if she choose to divulge the reason then it should be her choice, and not because she was pressured to do so.

6年かけて辛い練習する意味とファンとメンバーを無責任に手を放つのは個人の身勝手な理由じゃなくて、脱退せざる負えない特別な理由…何かの病気になったことが一番しっくりきます。

I'm so sad, probably one of my saddest highlights on being a kpop fan :( Literally, Jinni trained 6 years with Lily also (7 years) I'm still gonna support NMIXX and loving them as OT7!
This is just my opinion and assumptions :
I don’t think she left bc of the hate or at least the hate isn’t the only reason.
She trained for whole 6 years and she’s only 18. She probably ended her contract bc of an urgent matter. Just a few days ago she was talking about the groups future activities and how exited she was about them. I have three “ theories “ (lmaooo).
The 1st one is that she is dealing with depression or a HUGE lack of self confidence mixed with anxiety, maybe after seeing that the group wasn’t as popular as expected and is getting a lot of hate but this isn’t new, she became like this. However jypent wouldn’t have let this happened they are a company who values their artists well-being before anything else, hence breaks/hiatus they artists can get. Which leads me to my second supposition: she couldn’t take the idol life.
We all know how the trainee life is or can be depending on how the company is. Jype is part of the most human one. But trainee life and idol life are two different things. She started young, 12, she probably thought that if she was able to hang on once she debut she will live an amazing life, blinded by the sparkles ignoring the hardships but being an idol is a job like any other job. It can be amazing, your joy in life but it is also hard, and if you don’t have the passion for it you can’t enjoy it and will eventually give up. She did gave up and is now going another path, she’s only 18 and can still go to college or do something else in the entertainment industry or not. How many of us are saying they could handle the idol life while knowing how tiring and mentally draining it can be particularly if you’re just here bc of greed ? While taking the greed part away it was probably the same for her and now…
The third one is family issues. Something tragic may have happened. Or less dramatic, her family could have forced her out bc they had an agreement like idk “if your group doesn’t succeed within a certain amount of time given you’ll go back to study and do something else”, it doesn’t happens in movies only, a lot of families are like this, my mom’s family is like that and it’s annoying af.
Anyway I hope she can do something she likes from now on.
Whats up with these assumptions that nmixx arent popular enough blah blah blah. Nmixx are doing good. Theyre not even a one year old group yet they already sold 1M copies of albums. Just because theyre not bts-blackpink level yall think theyre flopping and are about to disband.
@@skyminnie6605 bts and bp weren't super popular until a couple of years post debut. nmixx is a great group with amazing singers and dancers but most people aren't vibing with their concept or their songs as expected of a stereotypical jype group. so its actually not an assumption unfortunately. its true they're not even a year into their debut but they haven't exactly made an impact like their seniors itzy or twice did when they debuted.

In my opinion decisions as serious as a member leaving a group like this usually are made at least a few weeks b4 the official statement comes out. So I think it's safe to say that they all already knew this a few weeks ago. But ofc they have to act neutral in front of fans ㅠㅠ

Probably a serious illness(hopefully not), family migrated abroad, pregnancy (most unlikely) change Company/Group(same unlikely) or after a year figure out that this job is not for her, better to change things up now than later in life. I hope she's healthy and will a happy life. She's my bias, so kinda sad seeing her go. But it's her life we who stans her wish her all the best in life. Fighting!
I know it's none of my business but I really wonder what happened. I was rooting for Nmixx so hard. They bring my interest back to kpop. And I'll still root for them.
It might be her mental health, or a family-related issue. I'm sure nothing is as personal as those matters. Unless it's something darker than that, but I hope not.

It’s shocking cause it feels so sudden. She just said she was excited for the next cb a few days ago and even got a new hairstyle. And didn’t she skipped taking her college entrance exam or smth so leaving to focus on her studies idk doesn’t seem to be the reason. I do have my worries for her with Dice cb cause she seemed distracted/serious than before and at times even upset or trying to hide that she’s upset. For her to not be put on hiatus and just leave like that not even a year into debut means there must be a serious reason that simply couldn’t be dealt with a hiatus as an alternative

I know some people feel like there’s a deeper problem but honestly some people just can’t handle the stress. Idols are insanely overworked. I mean idk if y’all remember Sorns old UA-cam videos before cube made her delete them but she literally had one where she didn’t get any sleep for like 2 days because of the schedules she had so you can just see the work they’re given is not something everyone can do.
of course they knew, jinni looked serious and worried (? during the event, especially when they won the prize. its sad because i started to stan them about 2 days before the announcement and she was one of my favorites members.

2. Inlove and pregnant
3. Have conflict to another NMIXX member.
4. Parents are rich and she will be the next heir for the family business
5. Mental health problems. Didn't imagine idol life was harsh and realized being an idol is not really what she wants.
6. She might be physically sick
7. Her parents or a family member might be really sick
8. Or was she sexually harassed as an idol
9. She bullied someone
10. She has a case in court

last night was my first time watching their content from the beginning and i love it! but as for today news, it does break my heart a little. Its fine, the groups still young. I will continue supporting NMIXX.

Same i was so mad at JYPE for even showing us her great charisma and stage presence during her pre debute covers but ended up being unnoticed during the debute that everyone thought was going to be Tank but instead a disappointing song with weird lyrics and some of the background was copied from other groups shame on JYPE for ruining such a all rounder group 🤦♀️
no, just 3 days ago she posted herself practicing and how she was excited for future promotions. my guess is that she was kicked out for reasons jype doesn’t want to specify. they did this same “personal reasons” statement for past idols that were kicked out (i.e. woojin from stray kids). you can’t just terminate a contract as a rookie idol for personal reasons so easily.
if it were really for, let’s say mental health, then she would be put on hiatus. jype is actually really good with this and gave idols like jeongyeon and mina from twice a lot of time to work on their mental health.
Yeah I feel like JYP was planning on to push her too, but then switched to Kyujin. Maybe JYP originally knew about this, thought that they could handle whatever was going on, and keep Jinni in the back before they could fix the issue. However, in the past few days they figured that they couldn't solve the problem so they both agreed (JYPe and Jinni) to terminate Jinni's contract. Just my guess though.

contracts can be terminated if both parties agree which is in this case (idk about the laws in Korea but in Europe you cant just fire someone without a valid reason). maybe jinni didnt feel nmixx was the group she wanted to be in (concept wise) and jyp respected it. Loona is having a legal battle since their company doesnt want them to leave.
@@siuwu3175 jype would not just readily give up their ace and would be such a loss for them doing so. They're a business too afterall, obv just letting jinni leave would cause A LOT of harm. There was prob a breach of contract and she prob got removed.
@@onceinamillion5549 jinni wasnt their ace. you can see that kyunjin and sullyoon were more on the center. And sometime it is better to let go of a member otherwise it can make more harm. Hyunseung former member of beast/highlight left the group due to difference in idea. Before he left he was acting all strange and he slept during broadcast etc. It caused harm to the group and then the agency decided to let him leave.
When two parties dont align, its better to let go. Otherwise it will cause friction and even more damage. It happend with former girl group April aswell, where one member didnt want to be an idol anymore but her agency didnt let her go and then it caused friction between the members. And now the disbanded due to this.
also dont assume things like breach contract.
They knew... they were not on bubble for a week. And she did not quit. There was something that happened. IF she had just quit they would not have been inactive on bubble. No one would have asked them about what no one knew. They go silent on Bubble when there is something negative that may come to light and they don't know how quickly the fans will learn about it, so they stop interacting to avoid fan questions. In this case whatever negative situation existed did not come out publicly before JYPe and Jinni came to an agreement for her to leave the group, if she and the fans are LUCKY it never will now so she can live her life without any drama following her.
With her bubble message and other stuff not adding up. Most likely the personal reason is her parents.

Idol is just part of a person life. I hope fans realize that she still has many other aspects in her life, like families. And we wouldn't know what happened, whether there's health issues, death, marriage, etc. To give up big dreams that you've gone thru long journey, something big might have happened. I hope jinni has everything eased and have a happy life as a person
honestly it could come down to creative differences. she always looked hip hop oriented and didn't see herself fit well with the group concepts. it could be more like a zayn malik situation.

I just think it seems fishy. Like, terminating contracts takes a long time. It's unlikely she changed her mind in those few days and be allowed to leave like that. If it's really just personal issues like something health-related, then I hope it's nothing too serious.

My guess is that, she wanted to focus more on her studies, maybe its parental pressure, i mean she has been balancing her studies and training back then? Or did she gave up studies and focused on training? I probably think she must have got tired of being a kpop idol... she is still a minor... she has a great life forward I hope she gets what she wants to do in her life... being a NMIXX member would be the most memorable moment of her life... she has experienced what a idol goes... idk but this reminds of Jennie of BLACKPINK the amount of criticism , hate she got and even now she gets dragged in every situation to make a controversy about her.... she still kept going on... :(
It was a good decision for jinni to quit for her mental health and self care , JYP is known for overworking their idols and also I feel bad for her how the company used her during their pre debut videos were being uploaded... but after debut they gave the whole damn center position to kyunjin when it was supposed to be jinni.... I kind of feel like she must have felt betrayed typa feeling ...and also if you see NMIXX videos recently even Dice fancams she doesn't look really interested or happy with what she is doing as much as during their debut Era...
