The whole reason he was talking about age arguments is because everyone kept saying what Tommy and Tubbo did bad to anyone else didn't matter because they were children and "didn't understand what they were doing". That's why he was just saying you know what make my character 3 years old and it doesn't matter what he does, everything can be explained away because he is a child, and should therefore have no consequences for his actions and get away with everything.

@@NuggetGX The problem with the peer pressure excuse is that Techno canonically had thousands of voices screaming for him to assassinate Schlatt and save Tubbo, which I know because I was one of them. It's a major plot hole, Techno should be used to peer pressure, and if he gives into any, well, chat can apply far more pressure than Schlatt could.

@@pzb1017 I would argue that watching Dream SMP from others views might actually make Dream not the actual "Villian" he was made out to be. Why was he a villain in the Disc saga? Because he threatened Tommy's discs? Tommy literally killed Dream while he was arbitrating, Tommy stole his stuff and refused to give it back.
Dream War? Because he opposed a country that literally was only allowing British people at first, and started out of a Drug Empire.
Pogtopia V Manburg? He started on Pogtopia and went to Shlatt because he offered Dream something. Also, thinking about it, Manburg showed signs of corruption already, so getting rid of it now before it became a dystopia would make sense.
Exile? Tommy literally burned down a house, which wasn't his first time doing so. Tommy threatened Dream with burning Spirit, which shows his hypocrisy. Tommy literally never followed the rules and kept trying to avoid consequences. Yeah, Dream went too far, but who else actually punished Tommy for any of the things he did?
Doomsday? Yeah, Lmanburg was corrupt. I think that's enough said.
The Finale? Was a plan to get put in the prison. Dream fully acting to appease their beliefs and faked his own downfall.
Prison? Yeah... Being trapped in a isolated cell, with nothing but raw potatoes to eat, having Tommy literally saying he doubts the reason Dream is being kept alive and taunting him? How else was he meant to prove the revive book was real? "Hey, can you let me out so I can revive a being that everyone hates?"
Prison break? He's literally a necromancer, why would threatening someone's life make him stop when he can revive him anyway? Why would he go back to being tortured?

Schlatt's the most innocent when looking from all perspectives, the man refused to be used as a propaganda tool by the then-dictator of the nation, attempted his best to make the nation better, and was betrayed and blocked at every corner from doing so because everyone arbitrarily hated him because "Oooohhh nooo, he exiled the literal dictator that set up a mock election to gain our favour, we're soooo angry that we don't have him anymore, Schlatt is so much worse because he's turning the drug-van turned country into an actual nationstate with taxes and stuff like a proper country ohhh noooo!!!!"

Dream got out, and instead of going after Quackity, the person who hurt him, Dream went back and tormented a child. Dream did not get better. He did not get worse. He stayed the same.

Fun fact: pigs reach maturity by the age of 6 months. At 3 years old, that makes him an adult (though on the young side, pigs can live up to 15-20 years).
So it COULD canonically be correct and not a joke.
Theory: techno isn’t actually 3 years old.
So, a theory of mine is techno and Phil were around the same age. That’s how they knew each other so well. But, when techno “died” from the anvil it reset his age. Which is why he’s so experienced at the age of 3.

But the lmanburg festival happened before the execution, so there is a plot hole which need to be fixed. I like that some people mentioned that in pig years he is about 15 or so because 15 is a good age for my theory : so in tales of dream smp we saw that one of his ancestors, William, was connected to the egg. As much as I know, there is a hole between dream smp and the tales of dream smp when Billiam III where introdused. I have a theory that Billiam III had a son who was against the egg but couldn't escape it because it was too powerful so when Techno was born, he asked the egg to put voises (us) in his head. Then Techno was taken by Phill who raised him and told him how to fight (that can explain his strengh). In the story Techno has a soft spot for Phil and they behave like a family, so I think that this can be a good proof for this theory

I've only ever watched the storyline from Techno's pov (he said his pov is the only one that matters anyways) and from his perspective all the government has done is brought violence and distrust in people. Yes there were some good times but as he said power eventually corrupts. Techno is the only person in the entire Dream SMP that has stuck to his morals and values.

I haven't been part of the fandom for long, but isn't all of early canon a joke? Fundy was born on the soil of a nation he had helped found, to a man and a normal fish. Sally is not even canonically a reproductively compatible shape shifter. I think techno being three can fit into the lore just fine

Wait so here's what I'm thinking of. Philza is immortal, so he's thousands of years old. Technoblade, on the other hand, is not immortal in that way. Instead, when Techno is killed he reincarnates as a new Technoblade (like a phoenix rising from the ashes). So he and Philza are old friends but also Phil is like his father because each time he reincarnates Phil raises him again. That's why Wilbur and Tommy see Techno as a brother figure. That's also how a three year old is kicking everyone's butt, he's got thousands of years of experience.
Also, I see the reincarnation thing as something to do with blood, hence the phrase "Blood for the Blood God".

This is why I only watched Techno’s POV for a while; I started with him, and seeing the others get mad at him and call him the antagonist made me just see them as the antagonists of the story. To this day I still am rooting for dream and techno to accomplish their goals over Quackity, Tommy, Wilbur and the others

So basically people are using him as a scapegoat as well as try and blame only him for it and try to ignore the fact that everyone had a big part to play in it as well.

My favourite Technoblade design is the one where he is a half boar half man that is the size of a grizzly bear, so I like to think that this is what he looks like as a 3 year old and he will just continue to grow as he gets older.

While Technoblade would have died due to Wilbur pressing the button at Tubbo's command, Techno was unaware of this fact. From Techno's point of view during the festival, Tubbo was still his ally and he had no reason to believe that he would have ordered his execution given he was unaware of the plan.
Thus, Techno's decision to kill Tubbo was in no way motivated by said plan, and was purely made due to the peer pressure from Schlatt as the rest of the members look on. Note that Techno only fought back against everyone in the crowd and fled once he had accidentally taken out Schlatt too.
In short, Techno was still betraying them in that moment to his knowledge. You could argue that the peer pressure excuses this, but then you also have to acknowledge that Tubbo was being peer pressured too, with Wilbur pushing Tubbo to make the decision for him and only saying the phrase after Schlatt began intimidating him.
Worth pointing out that peer pressure is a much better excuse for a character who is, at heart, a follower, than for the warrior with thousands of voices screaming in his head at all times.
C!Techno should be used to resisting peer pressure(especially when chat is going nuts attempting to pressure him into doing the opposite, as it was at the festival(source:I was present in the stream)), while C!Tubbo has a tendency to just go along with whatever those around him were doing.

He would have just assumed Techno and Niki were told to exit before the explosion like he was, given he trusted Wilbur's judgement. Backing this up is the fact that he believed Wilbur when he said Techno wouldn't hurt him.

My theory is that people can be around before their actual birth. That's how Fundy fought for the independence of a nation he was later born in. Possibly reincarnation. Philza knows Techno from way back, maybe they have found eachother through multiple of Techno's reincarnations. Techno experiences death differently maybe? Reincarnates instead of going to the afterlife? This explains his cavalier attitude toward death and his confidence in the prison

Personal, I think Techno being 3 years old doesn't fit very well. He needs to have a fairly lengthy career as a warrior to be such an infamous figure (Quackity was traumatized by him) and to have a close friendship with Philza. He doesn't need to be ancient, just to have some experience under his belt.
That said, pigs mature faster than humans. Not sure about pigmen.
I’m the nether update baby piglins/pigmen will never turn into adults so I don’t think it applies to them maybe because one grows slower and one grows faster those genes were fighting and just said f*ck it if you were born a baby you shall stay small.
