Just made one today- not gonna lie it was a bit of a challenge but I got through it with just one mistake with the buckles that I thought was wrong so I changed it and made it wrong 🙄. I had to watch a YT on how to make bias tape and that worked out well. Oh and I added 2 pockets on the inside (because ya never have enough!). Thanks for the templates and vid - very helpful ❤

Awesome! My only change would be to add a pocket on the side for a water bottle and a zippered pocket inside and on the back side. I love it.

The binding looks so neatly done here. I like the idea of attaching it to the gusset ahead of time instead of doing binding as more of an afterthought. I will start doing it that way now! Thanks for the idea!

It’s cute but I’m struggling with @16:43 where to sew at 3/8” and the webbing/binding 1 1/4” is too small to folding. I feel it needed to be at 1.5 or 1 5/8” for it. 1 1/4 inches doesn’t work for me. It was frustrating for me on that part. Just want to share with you of my experience on that. That’s all.
At 14:47, do not sew binding to the inside of the zipper panel, but sew the zipper panel and main panel together at 3/8 at 16:43. Then apply binding to the seam allowance. Good luck.😄🌻💕

I'm struggling with your free pattern to print. First page was fitting properly, but second page was no where fit right as your video that I have been watching. Can you update you free pattern to make sure the second page in the actual scale? And, where do you find the rectangle and triglide 1 1/4" buckle? I cannot find anywhere and not sure where you buy those. I may would have to adjust to whatever out there that are available. I have been sewing few projects of yours lately until this one throw me off with free pattern, good thing I have not cut the fabric yet because of that free pattern. Did you print in A4 size? Let me know. Big thanks. Love your video steps. Keep that way. I like this very straightforward on!

@@sewingtimes okay. I’ll try again with print. Maybe it’s my printer limits me but will see if I can make my other printer works. Just that when I printed at actual scale to get 5cm exactly. Second page was enlarge for some reason. That’s why I asked. And thank you for the link of the buckle! 😊. Edited. The Buckle is plastic. Yours is metal. I prefer metal exactly like yours.
