The itch could be quirk related. But I also think it's fair to say he starts to itch whenever he's uncomfortable/stressed out. Because he actually makes a comment in this episode, "If anyone had reached their hand out...I wonder if the itch would've stopped." Which is basically implying that he thinks if anyone besides AFO had come to help him, he might've been able to stop the itch. Because AFO doesn't help him when he's in pain or stressed. He doesn't help him get through that. He just tells him that he shouldn't feel that way. And to basically be the worst person possible. That voice whispered in his ear for 15 years or so. Which is probably why Shigaraki makes video game references and seems pretty childish at the beginning of the story. He literally didn't have the chance to grow up. But now he's taken his first steps to becoming his own person. He's got power, he's got influence, but most of all, he's got drip.
Actually, it's not just Shigaraki's hair that changed.... his voice did, too. Originally, it was quite raspy, but after the flashback, it becomes much clearer (the English dub makes this change a lot more obvious, IMO). Yet another sign that he's become "liberated", I suppose....
Yes, before the liberation, he was trying to be cool & essentially playing at being a villain so he’d was doing silly things with his voice & acting weird. Now he literally don’t give a damn about anything except his friends
You mentioned that you felt like you guys should've already knew the MLA during the Endeavor Agency arc and you're correct. The anime switched the Villain Arc and Endeavor Agency Arc around and it made it confusing to watch and ruined the events of the Villain arc. It was switched around cause higher ups thought viewership would drop off if they spent half the season with the Villains so they tried to cut and censor it down to only 5 episodes, they cut a lot on Spinner as he was the main character of this arc but it'll be shown later in Season 6, they also cut a lot on Redestro and his company Detnerat but it won't be shown later. The irony of this is that the Villain arc was the most watched episodes of the season🫠
As ironic as that is, unfortunately villains are not that popular in Japan which is the anime's target audience, they don't care about us overseas fans and also this is not the first time the villains got done dirty, even the author himself said a few other villain arcs had to be cut short due to the focus they had on the villains such as the training camp in season 3, and he didn't wanna cut them short but he had to listen to the shonen jump
@@alsaccount7946 knowing all this, it's a miracle that Horikoshi got to make MVA at all. An entire arc focused on the villains and forcing us to empathize with them.
Before I said that Tomura was used and manipulated by a certain villain this episode reveals that the villain is All For One. I'm not excusing the crimes that Tomura committed, but Tomura's hatred was 80% justified. These backflashes show how his hatred is 80% justified even though it doesn't excuse the crimes he's committed.
You're nuts. His anger is not justified. His dad wasn't abusive. Tenko was just plain nuts from the beginning. The entire reason he was always itching as a child was because he was acting against his fucked up urges to kill. He was always going to snap and start killing people once his quirk manifested.
@@damianmercado2818 I don't have to rewatch them. I've seen them plenty of times. That being said, you are still wrong. His dad was a hard ass about talking about heros in the home. So what? He spanked him for snooping in an off-limits area. So what? That's normal parenting. There is absolutely nothing abusive about it nor is it worthy of any sort of hatred, much less murderous hatred. And as Shigaraki himself said, he was ALWAYS a murderer, he was just denying it until that day.
@@KurNorock So you call his father taking out his anger about being abandoned by his own mother on his own son normal parenting? Like for example when Tomura's father pulled him by the shirt and put him outside till he apologized just because he played Hero with his friends. Oh and by the way if you watched episode 23 you would see Kotaro Shimura admitting he went too far after his wife and in-laws confronted him about his behavior towards his own son.
There is a little bit of set up but they left it in dark on purpose for some reason. More than a handful of times they mention this city and incident happening in the very beginning of the season. We don't know what incident is but we do know of this city before hand. I can understand some people not liking knowing the ending before but to be fair we had a pretty good idea they were not going to make the main villains die before they ever confront the good guys. So I thought it was pretty neat like puzzle put together out of order. We know how it ends but the juicy part is the middle and were are getting the scoop. More importantly I think it sets up season 6 masterfully because we have an inkling of the storm that is to come is ever worse than we thought.
You were supposed to know this. In the Manga, this storyline was before the internship storyline. So they swapped those two parts, but kept everything else the same, making it seem as if they skipped around, because they did. No idea why they did this.

I mean, even after what happened with his family, Tenko retained his morals up until AfO encouraged the worst possible impulses

Almost at season 6 😏😏

No idea why they did this.
They did this to match some part of the story with the movie release i think. It's a shitty reason, even more considering the quality of the movie...
Watching this while I also have a thunderstorm and tornado warning was kinda surreal
Wow I literally just finished the last video and you post another one!?? God bless y'all!!
4:12 should be use to that from attack on Titan. They do that all the time lol
My hero academia 3rd Movie world heros mission after season 5 next then season 6
eris hair change color too, they both have mutation type quirks very powerful, and awakened
The anime video sound is a bit low
Tomura Driparaki
The anime cut a lot of Spinner’s moments from this arc but they were mostly characterization, rather than about his quirk or ability
tenko shimura
season 6 = fire
Double drop Thursdays YAY! Los Angeles loves The React Pack!
why even bother adding sound at this point?
Spinner could definitely use a power up lol
He will
All For One definitely gave Tomura some other folks hands.🤣🤣🤣
Y’all should def check out the last of us (HBO series)
