In this video Ana and Jack built an off-grid bridge together to build a log cabin for survival in the wild. The previous bridge was washed away by floodwaters, Ana's miniature hydroelectric project was also destroyed by floodwaters. The storm passed Ana and Jack followed the stream and found a part of the bridge, the bridge needed to be rebuilt, the bridge had the function of connecting the two banks of the survival farm. Ana and Jack took advantage of the remaining debris and built a new self-reliant bridge that was taller and stronger and hopefully this new bridge can withstand future storms, let's celebrate Ana and Jack's new self-reliant bridge. Ana and Jack will continue to build a new house according to Ana's design, a log cabin with an attic as a bedroom. Hope you will wait together.
Dear Ana and Jack, when the river has much more water it widens and flows faster. The best thing that you can do is to make the river at your house *deeper* because when it is deeper it can transport more water and cause less damage. So I suggest to remove as many rocks as possible that are on the bottom of the river.
@@mhkoo1 There is a limit to human power, and if there is heavy water, a lot of stones will be brought in from upstream again. It's a roundabout way. The surest way is to move out of here and move our house to a little higher ground. How close this place is to the river is too close.
Guys you need to cover the hall breige with concreto, so it make it harder ands studert, agains floodwaters in the future, its the best option to impruve the brige and dont lose it again and use a lot of stones too!

From top of bridge about 2 - 3 feet down,nail a timber across from one side to other to reinforce bridge. if you get flood again, it won't push your bridge with the 2 timbers one on each side. Nail timbers the height you think will be above flood water. 2 timbers will give the little extra support to keep bridge together. Won't be able to shift bridge in flood waters and keep it straight. Ana and Jack you did great job building bridge. It is strong and last long time. In future you could put concrete across whole bridge , but you have to put metal bars in concrete to reinforce concrete. Would need to make concrete 2 to 3 inches thick with metal bars in concrete. In future if wood rots away under concrete on bridge,concrete becomes your new bridge.
We don’t use this way of building bridges here in the US, and I don’t know why? True the first one did wash away, but knowing Ana, the next one will be what is needed! Watched Ana for years and it seems the channel has raised to the next level up with Jack there! Hope he stays! No telling what the two will do/build/create! Thanxz
