The first step I would suggest to please see requirements of credentials evaluation report of foreign nursing education from either CGFNS or ERES. if you’re eligible as per standard you can apply for CES professional report, this is what exactly board is looking at for your eligibility to qualify and grant permission to sit for an exam as RN. Also please visit nursing board website for further steps regarding application process for example finger prints requirements of vendor and period of application validity all are explained in detailed. Hello Mam, i am planning to apply for New York state board of nursing, Just few doubts i have regarding I studied from Karnataka nursing council, as i am from Gujarat i transfer my license to Gujarat and i did not renew Karnataka state license, now its expired however Gujarat nursing council license currently active so in license verification form which board details i have to provide ? also, My college merge with other nursing college so in College verification, Should i put new merged college address or What ever in my transcripts ? It would be always recommended to declare your basic education because they do ask for credit hours and courses descriptions therefore your school is required to provide such information

Hi sorry for inconvenience but the statement has been provided please read the sentences it’s mentioned the same information which was missed due to technical interruptions. Like after 3 attempts board will not allow to give further chance even after remediation course. Also application expires in 6 months. So make sure you do your credentials first than to generate application account so the results will be in 6 months otherwise you have to pay for application again. You can only transfer your case or scores after you pass your NCLEX exam, Canadian RNs or LPN’s those who are licensed can practice in the US just like other health professionals, as long as they pass The National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX).
transfer of application process is not available because all boards have different requirements also, only if you licensed or already passed NCLEX exam is the possibility dear.

English test is not required for Newyork board and CGFNS mostly takes 10 to 12 business weeks after receiving all documents, excluding expedite cases

SSN is not required if you don’t have for live scan contact your board for vendors where you can contact for fingerprints

First we have to write nclex or to do cgns registration.
Without CGFNS credential evaluation, they won’t give eligibility to write NCLEX exam. So Cgfns must be first.

Here in USA nurse practitioners have authority to prescribe medication and treating patients, you have to evaluate via cgfns if you qualify for NNP.

Is the PR is on the basis of your profession ? However Any kind of license you should keep updated, for USA you must have NCLEX license and requirements according to the board of nursing and if they need your credentials evaluation than you must go for it..

You can only transfer your case or scores after you pass your NCLEX exam, Canadian RNs or LPN’s those who are licensed can practice in the US just like other health professionals, as long as they pass The National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX).
transfer of application process is not available because all boards have different requirements also, only if you licensed or already passed NCLEX exam is the possibility dear.
