- After missing the 2022 and 2023 track seasons due to injury I’m finally back racing on the track.
In this episode, I raced at Morton Games, one of Ireland’s best track meets. This was my second 5000m race of the season. I previously raced at the Irish National Champs finishing 5th which was my first time racing over the distance in three years.
Thanks for watching.

the cinematic feel of these videos is off the charts!!! my only regret is that I wish it were longer! I really hoping you're enjoying making them as much as your fans are enjoying watching them!
Thank you. It’s been very enjoyable so far. Lots to take and always try improve on. We’ll take the length into consideration moving forward
Great production, loving the series! Keep em coming
agreed!!! It feels very professional
Thank you. Still early days
Quality videos, nice to see how the elite runners prepare and the behind the scenes of being an elite runner. Keep up the hard work 💪
agreed! I also love the behind the scenes!!!
Thanks Christopher, appreciate the comment
I keep coming back to it because it is so good! Cannot wait for episode 3!!!
Will try release every two weeks
loved the intro! pls show more of the actual race and postrace thoughts nd recovery, the intro was amazing and introspective
Thank you. We’ll keep that in mind on our next race day video.
agreed! would love to see @TheIrishHammer take on ice baths/saunas/yoga and stretching sessions afterwards, and discuss the next day feelings and pain!!! it was so cool to see Sean discuss glute pain in the videos, because being a (very) amateur runner I always assumed pros just were pain-free all the time haha. I myself am often sore when running (or during warmups and cooldowns) and seeing how it gets navigated could seriously help some of the fans!
@@TheIrishHammer thank you!!! ur great
Insane video!!!! feels very high-end and professional as others have commented.
@@hieronymushoffmann7428 Thank you. Hopefully we’ll continue to improve our game

@@conormchugh4811 Thanks Conor. Don’t be afraid to say hello next we cross paths
Great videos Sean, so well produced and you've given really insightful and generous presentations in each.
Thanks Colin, appreciate the comment. Will continue to do our best moving forward
Brilliant Sean, this will get bigger and bigger as the word gets out - keep it going. looking forward to the XC season to see you pick it up again on your comeback
Thanks Martin
for sure!! I am always a staunch advocate for track content of any sort, because this beautiful spot deserves far more recognition. I share this with as many people that are interested as possible. we also need to do our part to advance the sport - I had a couple of people tell me I got them into track after the Olympics because I kept posting it on my whatsapp status updates, ensuring to include tidbits of interesting facts like the rivalries, favourites, potential world record breakers, etc.
Great video Sean
Thanks Jack
Hey man love the video. I commented on the back to home video if you could answer some questions I have about the 5k in xc, and just saw this one appear.
Replied on the last video
@@TheIrishHammer thank you so much. I sent the email. Sorry it is long and from a weird account name.
