Hey, Ron! Love watching you working on these vintage pins! We love it when the "wine drinkers" send you the dopey people. I agree with all of the fans of your site, Ron - Keep up the good worke!
I think your theme song should be "Ohhhh Lord it's hard to be humble when you're perfect in every way....." Thanks for a great video. This actually looks like a player friendly game.
I love all these rewires and switches people apply. I knew folks with machines and they just left the door unlocked and you reached in and tickled the coin counter bar.
Ya know, Ron. You could take the Quintin Tarantino approach when people spout about how they would have shot such-and-such a movie...(to paraphrase)...no they wouldn't...they would have never thought of the movie to begin with so they wouldn't have shot it a different way. The same goes for people complaining about how you play a pinball machine...those people wouldn't play it better because nobody is bringing them pinball machines to be repaired. So, they aren't playing them them at all. People just gotta complain about somthin'.
You could absolutely do it, with your circuit knowledge you'll quickly see that it's just a very simplified 'ancestor' of your circuits you're designing and using so well with your sound boards and other things. It's digital at it's simplest, on and off, 1's and 0's :) Thanks for watching Geeteoh, we've finished the Medusa series and when we get it uploaded we did a whole video about your board! Thank you again!
It looks like the 'extra' 1000 points is coming from the Double Bonus When Lit light itself. I've watched it several times and the last 1000 points scores when the light goes out. You can see it at 1:03:45. Maybe you get an 'extra' 1000 points just for getting the Double Bonus.
At 47:10 The medium setting connects one to the setup relay through the "top" of the liberal connection. The liberal setting connects both one and three. Thanks for the detailed sleuthing, it's always interesting going through the schematics and your approach makes them much less daunting.
Ron, just remember....EVERYBODY is born right handed, only the greatest of us are able to overcome that and use our left hand. We're also the only group that are in our right mind...so again, yea...there's a LOT of people not in their right mind out there. Just be careful out there!
This series is a treasure trove for fixing EMs. Thank you for filming it. When you say you've replaced a bulb, are you replacing it with another incandescent or an LED?
JOE CLASSIC, What is considered a drum unit? the schematic prints D.U on the points contacts but i dont know what they are calling the drum unit. How can you tell on the score motor cams have a "long dwell impulse" switch? i just cant tell by looking if it has a long dwell any tips to look for?
It seems like the extra 1000 points happens after the bonus unit gets to zero and when it resets back to 1. I'd try to figure that one out, but as you can see by the date of this comment, I'm a couple of weeks behind in my UA-cam videos!
I love playing pinball and could care less what anyone says lol. Not to mention you play with ONE HAND in your videos so for anyone to states they can do better is kinda silly lol
I remember when I was a preteen my grandfather and grandmother had space mission in their home. If I recall I remember when the bonus counts down the chimes supposed to go on as it's counting down the bonus but in this video I don't hear the chimes when the bonus is being countdown maybe that's something to look into. UPDATE WELL RON AS I WAS WATCHING THE REST OF THE VIDEO IT LOOKS LIKE YOU FIXED THE PROBLEM THAT I JUST COMMENTED ON LOL! SORRY LOOKS LIKE EVERYTHING'S WORKING FINE
An hour of Ron isn’t enough! Keep it up!

Thank you for taking the time to walk through the schematic in such detail. This was super educational!!!
Thank you for watching, Steve!
Thanks for the great instruction today! It really helps me to see your methods!
Thank you D A we appreciate you watching!
More like “1 Hour of EM Pinball ASMR”…
Those chimes are satisfying!
They're pretty cool! Thanks for watcing Jveg199X!
Ron. You got those old worn out chimes sounding so good. Great work as usual.
I think your theme song should be "Ohhhh Lord it's hard to be humble when you're perfect in every way....." Thanks for a great video. This actually looks like a player friendly game.
i know you wonder, but I for one like the deeper-dive into schematic troubleshooting videos!

I learned a lot about EM repair from your videos. I’m armed and ready now to attempt to fix one. Friend has one that’s broke.

@@LyonsArcade It’s unbelievable how much they packed into those old EMs. Looking forward to your Medusa series.
Remember those at the 7-Eleven Store down the street from me as a kid. Great find.
I have that machine , fantastic video as always , helped me out with my issues 👍
sounds ace. shame i cant come out and play it with you. lovin it. many thanks.
Thank you for watching mycatsdead!

Excellent troubleshooting once again Ron, and you're a great player too...don't listen to the trolls🙂

Hey people?! Would you ever think of doing a live video? Shop tour… Q&A… Keep up the good work.

We always replace with real light bulbs, thank you for watching Captain Stress!
Why would they do that just close the switch on the credit unit.
Great video. I have a nice Space Mission, and I will have this to look at if I have any issues. Right now it is working beautifully.
You can now tell Joe that it 'ain't broke any more. 😂

Full hour hype!!
Mechanik gutes technik mit schaltwerk... :-)
Dr. Ron with that handwriting lol.
Must've missed it earlier didn't realize
you're left-handed.....
now it's all starting
to come together‼️®™️🤣🤣🤣
They pronounce it “Men Jeez” down east. The family owns Minges Pepsi Bottling here.
I specifically asked him and he pronounces it 'Ming Us' but he said there's lots of different ways to say it in different parts of the family...
Who cares how it's pronounced..this ain't English class people come on now 😆
They got oldschool good pepsi? Like back in Nam pepsi? Cause down midsouth it aint good no more
@@hadleymanmusic Yes. The Pepsi in bottles here uses pure cane sugar. It’s got that ‘bite’ like Pepsi should.
great video. Haters gonna hate hate hate.. playas gonna play play play
HEY RON!!!
When I didn't see a light on the coin door, I always thought the machine was broke.
My grandma is left handed but can write perfectly with both hands
Your Grandma is a legend!
@Joe's Classic Video Games you should check out or go to Galloping Ghost Arcade. They could use a man of your skill.
Yikes Ron, now I gotta apologize for my right handed privilege as well :) Nice trouble shooting again!
Thank you for watching buddy

UPDATE
WELL RON AS I WAS WATCHING THE REST OF THE VIDEO IT LOOKS LIKE YOU FIXED THE PROBLEM THAT I JUST COMMENTED ON LOL! SORRY LOOKS LIKE EVERYTHING'S WORKING FINE
Do you know why God created fewer lefties than righties. He found it harder to recreate perfection! LOL
I'm finding that the longer I work on my list, the longer it gets. I fix one issue and create two more...
Yep us left handed people are really good looking. 🤣🤣🤣
Yodelayheehoo
I'm the only one in my family that's left handed. Nobody can figure out why. Father, mother, brother, sister are all righties.
You were adoped.. take a DNA test.
I find it interesting that there are at least 2 kinds of lefty.
Standard Lefty AND
Upside Down Lefty
Easy. You are a spawn of Satan.
Would be spelt Menzies in the original Scottish but still said Ming-Iss.
Ich gerne nachbau.
Lol. Liberal, Medium, Conservative. Oh what a way to label the scoring.
Medium is just operators too afraid to admit they want it on Conservative
@@LyonsArcade I like that. I loved this series, even if this pinball is a bit before my preferred era.
I'm so much better playing that than you... 😏 I just felt like being "that person" ps I'm hopeless.
