When I first saw this movie, this was playing during the credits. The intrigue pulled me right in and I knew I was in for a treat. I never tire of either the music or the film.
In my opinion , The soundtrack from : BULLITT ... and especially the title track was his MASTER PIECE !!!! The man is a genius !!! He is right up there with the likes of Sergio Mendes Dave Grusin , Raymond Lefevre , Barry White , Grover Washington Jr . and John Barry . ALL OF THESE MEN WERE/ARE MUSICAL GENIUSES !!!!!
Steven Spielberg is producing a reboot of Bullitt but Lalo Schriffin is now 90yrs and not interested in ‘doing the daily grind of writing movie music.’
Well, Bradley Cooper has signed on to play Det. Frank Bullitt, but how Spielberg will tell a follow on story is yet to be announced. @@clementjohnson2666
@@zeeone4492As far as I'm concerned the movie WAS perfection . Even when S . McQueen missed his turn off and had to back up to catch up to that Dodge Charger , that imperfect moment helped make the movie that much better!!!! And I "seriously " doubt that even S. Spielberg could make a Better version of Bullitt . So yes , Mr . Spielberg should just forget about the idea & leave it alone !!
We could answer : we hate when UK say we nail, their opinion don't count for us. But. But, as you probably played with the so famous british humour, so, you're welcome to the audience of a very pleasant musical piece, perfectly accomplished by a great orchestra.
I found that the score of Shifting Gears is haunting. The syncopated throb between the horns is repetitive over and over again. Once in your head, it's there, over and over again!
Magnificquite, Bravo, Je' Taime it! Francis Got Talent! The Late Steve Mcqueen and The People behind Bullit would be Proud of You The People of🇫🇷! I Love it.💯💞💕💖♥️❤️😍😘💋👏🙏🙌👌💯💓🇫🇷
Very nostalgic sounds. Lalo was responsible for the incredible soundtracks to so many film and tv shows! Just heard The Man from THRUSH on Liza Tarbuck show on Radio BBC6 music!!!!!
I was lucky enough to see Lalo Schifrin in concert at the Barbican Hall London some years ago, the LSO and Schifrin’s own soloist rhythm section performed many of his great scores, Bullitt as well as Dirty Harry being played live and conducted by the man was incredible, as well as Enter the Dragon and Mission impossible too!! Great concert and of a time when such concerts by great masters of film music did concerts, sadly rare today, manly as they all either dead, going that way or no longer able? Goldsmith, Barry, Mancini, Jarre, Kamen all seen at the Barbican or Festival Hall, great days of live full on symphonic film music concerts!!!! 🥰…this version is good and refreshing to still see it being played!! 🤗.
Overall great camera work on this video. The videographers knew what to shoot and the editor showed what was most relevant most of the time, a key requirement when there are so many players. I wish I had been in this audience when this was played.
Why don't they make movies like Bullitt any more, great actors, great stories, great scores, you name it? Movies today are largely junk just like popular music.
Beautiful! We saw Lalo conducting the Sydney Symphony at the Opera House but they unfortunately didn’t play this. When he asked for requests I actually called this out, maybe that gave him the idea. lol.
One of my favorite soundtracks
Excellent taste, gentleman.
Superbe orchestre !...bravo radioFRance !
WOW! To actually SEE the orchestra play this classic is tremendous.
movies did so well in 60s and 70s with awesome soundtracks! timeless
You could not beat great jazz based orchestrated soundtracks from the 60s
Movies from the 60s and 70s did so well, period. 😃

What have you got against the French?
Outstanding
One of the BEST movies ..!!.. and soundtracks EVER ..!!.. Stevie McQueen's best role.
This is one complex piece of music. Love it
So much talent on that stage!! Wow! Great job of recreating this masterful piece of musical art. 👍
Très belle version! J’adore. Merci.
you hear the best music in movie soundtracks,& this is best example, yet to beaten all these years later
excellent selection
Absolutely brilliant,uk
the opening bars chords sends a shiver up my spine, sublime, lalo schifrin ,wow what a composer of music

Impresionante
Could've been the sound system, but this version didn't have the punch and pizzaz of the original.
Got to go find that version RIGHT NOW!
You're totally right, it's somewhat dull an lacks energy, And for the swing feeling, they probably don't know what it is...
Absolutely brilliant uk

Amazing from the UK

Funky! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Je l'ai fait en 1987 ahahah génial
The Film is brilliant
agree 100%
Great version.
Fantastic!
Amazing, the best
Amazing!!!

Bassist sound sharp to me.
I like the pretty flautists digging thier chance to sound like cool jazz🎉 I think the brunette went out and bought a green 67 mustang
