Okay thanks for sharing that knowledge, I have a question apart from idling; Helping my son trying to get his 1jz started using megasquirt; got it started but when I look at the ignition table I'm seeing a different spark advance than what is on the data log. Can I send you both files to look at them?
Thanks for the vid. I noted that it was idling at 1300 on a cold start. So whats it going to idle at hot? 1500? That is a little fast I would have thought.
This is a valid reason to move to the sub tropics right? Its not so easy in Minnesota when we get a month around -15c with dips to -40c and we get low vapor pressure Cali emissions fuel on top of it.
-15c is extreme and is tough on most cars to start up. The principles I mentioned, I use with success on cars I remote tune around the world with all sorts of temperatures
I am a bit confused as to what my next step is, I have a VTR250 that is my race bike, I am converting to EFI with NO2C and my Honda throttle bodies have a 4 wire stepper IACV. I have identified the two different coils but don’t know A1/A2/B1/B2 and I don’t know how to input stepper settings. Where can I look for these tips? Thanks 🙏🏻
@@DCWERX thanks, I think the main information I can’t find is defining the difference of pin polarity in the stock Honda IACV connector. I’ll keep digging and then try to calibrate it. This is a swapped in throttle body for a bike not sold in many markets so I’m struggling to find a wiring diagram and supporting information. Thanks for the reply
Oh boy right when I’m working on my cold starts!!!
Good stuff. Thanks for sharing your tuning knowledge.

😆
hey, my car is idling at 1800-2000 rpm and im not sure what could be the problem i didn't connect my idle valve. Could that be it?
Thanks for the vid. I noted that it was idling at 1300 on a cold start. So whats it going to idle at hot? 1500? That is a little fast I would have thought.
1300 is perfect at cold start. 1000rpm when hot
Mine using 15 deg. cold advance and idle at 900 rpm when cold and 1100 rpm when warm 10 deg. on the ign. map!!!! Am i missing something?

The Speeduino manual cover this IIRC. If not drop a post on the forum
