That Link Between Worlds fight is actually sick, I love the enemy having the exact same moveset and items as you.

imagine ocarina of time dark link using the same items as you, like, straight up capable of sniping you with the bow or freezing you with a nut
Having the same drawbacks is also cool, feels more rewarding when you capitalize on the mistakes.
They should make Dark Link have more of an impact in the Zelda series than being a mini boss in my opinion
i think loz 4 swords was.. the only game where dark or "shadow link" as he was called had an actual impact i think, as he actively messed with and repeatedly fought the links in that game and is the only game to date where he's the most prominent.
but i deff agree, he really should have more impact,

i think that shadow link may be one of the toughest due to his many abilities he gains over the course of that game and not truly dying til the end of the game. i hope there'll be another zelda game with a more active dark link or a final boss one like adventure of link one day, it'd be cool.

Same here. I love Dark Link and want him to be a more integral part of the story instead of being an Alt or a Costume.
Dark links battle in ocarina of time is definitely up there in the top ten mini bosses.

its a shame the 3ds ocarina of time dark link one is literally broken and glitched to the point it.. actually barely feels like a fight. like if you jump attack? he side jumps but jumps straight up after, no jump attack. i feel like the devs broke something in oot 3ds's code.
dark link in the 3ds also.. literally will never jump attack counter you unless you spam your own jump attack and make link and dark link's models overlap against a wall, only then does he do it(and it works).
@@MLmaster135 this is false. Dark Link ONLY attacks himself when he is no longer a see through, but solid. It takes a bit for him to become solid. But that is when he will start to attack you. Otherwise he merely mimics your movements. Stay Awes9me

when you jump attack him in the 3ds version when he's solid he doesn't actually counter jump attack you, but side jumps and jumps upwards after, which is glitchy.
he's glitched like that. to make him jump attack on oot 3ds,both links models have to overlap near a wall as you spam jump attack in 3ds. it happened to me. oot64 he functions just fine with no problems i know that, but the 3ds he.. is very glitchy
i'm not sure if anyone else has had that experience in the 3ds version or if he somehow functioned normally. he never did that for me.
if you have a save in the water temple you should try what i described, because i'm not sure if anyone else has had that experience on the 3ds oot like i did

I completely forgot the Twilight Princess one although its so creepy.
Cutscene and introduction-wise, Hyrule Warriors was the best. Ocarina of Time had the best fight though.
I love when you do a lunge attack at OOT dark link, he jumps on your sword then backflips off it. What a show off
For personal matters Ganondorf/Ganon may be the main antagonist and villain of the Legend of Zelda franchise but Dark Link can just as intimidating and threatening as his master Ganondorf/Ganon. More importantly Dark Link is far more recurring than his leader and king Ganondorf/Ganon.

I found Link’s Shadow from Zelda II easier to defeat than Dark Link from Ocarina of Time.
Indeed, Link’s Shadow fights like Link and so has 2 positions : his shield protects his chest or his legs. I just jumped and attacked his chest, and after a long time it ended up working. Like every random knight but waaaay LONGER to do it ^^

Dark link shadows everything up to another level.
It's a little confusing how these characters are nearly the same yet are supposed to be different officially...
dark link= a separate entity/monster that mimics link. usually dark grey in color, red eyes.
Link's shadow= same person, but is a manifestation of his negative side. Is completely pitch black
Is this Right? Shadow link also seems reserved for final/secret bosses while dark link is a mini boss most of the time.
Manga shadow link is a whole other situation both the OOT and FSA one

I once attacked Dark Link in Ocarina of Time without Z Targeting since he only blocks Vertical Blows, but suprisingly no Horizontal ones
Pretty ironic that Dark Link himself didn't appeared in Age of Calamity but the champions got an equivalent for themselves.
I do find it funny that in OoT 3D if you have the biggoron sword you can just pull a Zelda 2

Adventure of Link, A Link Between Worlds, Four Swords Adventure, Link's Awakening and Cadence of Hyrule are all Shadow Link. The rest are Dark Link
