I’ve made a few of Claire’s recipes….each time I finish, I usually say out loud. "I can’t believe I f***ing made this!" She’s the best at what she does.
omg love this emmy x claire crossover
Yay!!!
Omg same! Two of my favorite UA-camrs ❤️😁 collab somehow?!
1000 times yes!!!❤❤❤
Yeah, perfected humans x 2
I was just about to comment that too!
I used the same recipe a couple of months ago, mine didn't turn out as perfect as yours, but the way you celebrated your first croissant in the end of the video was exactly how I celebrated when I was eating my first homemade croissant 🤭🤭🤭
Yes, homemade croissants deserve celebration. 🎉
@@emmymade I'm actually quite surprised you've never made croissants before. Try ciabatta bread next. ; )
I think Claire would be absolutely proud of how your croissants turned out Emmy! I'd love to see you attempt some of her other baking recipes in the future.😃
When she takes the moment of tasting really as a moment of tasting.. 😂 that was like 12 seconds of perfect silently humming, chewing and taking every flavor in.. topping it off with a sip of coffee👌🏽.. it was the best part of this whole video.. 😂👏 She's my spirit animal! ❤️
can we just talk about how emmy almost never fails anything (even if it’s her first try)?????!!!!!!
she sure has mad skills..
That crunch.. 🤤
😁
Ever since I saw Claire's video on croissants I've been tempted to try it. I'm happy to see that the recipe really holds up in another person's hands!! They look AMAZING.
I'm so appreciative of your continued dedication to making videos. I don't even know how long it's been since I first started watching your videos, back when you were living in Japan. It's been fun and wholesome to be invited to be part of your food adventures all these years. Love your channel :) it's my favourite. Congratulations on such a beautiful and varied video making career
This comment is so sweet and wholesome!! 🫶🏻
That’s the most beautiful and aesthetically pleasing batch of croissants I’ve ever seen! They look like they came out of an anime
Perfect description!
i’ve never considered making croissants myself so i guess i’ve never imagined it would be so challenging. maybe part of that comes from using croissant doughs from a can. i completely forgot about the lamination process and now that i’m thinking about how tedious the steps would be; i feel like saying good luck before i even finish the video lol! i have faith in you emmy!
update/spoiler alert: those are the best croissants i have ever seen. now i will never feel complete until i have one just like’em!
I think the hardest part of a croissant is just the patience to not melt the better. the dough is easy to work with, they're just nearly impossible to make if your room temperature is rather warm
“Croissant” dough from a can is normally just crescent rolls which have the final rolled shape but none of the amazing buttery layers that real croissants have
I made my first puff pastry last week. Could not believe how much better it was to store bought. So worth the work. Now you have ne wantingvto make these too. Love your videos.
Good luck making yours! Hope yours turn out as good as Emmy's!
These are the most beautiful croissants I've ever seen and I live in France haha. They look so good and buttery and BIG 🥺❤ I never attempted to make croissants myself because I can't bake but now I want to, even though I can find very tasty ones right down my street🥺 loved your reaction to the final result🤗
You did such a good job. I don't think I have ever seen them so perfect.
Dear Emmy, If you can make Croissants you can make ANYTHING!! You are the Best!!
Emmy…the way you speak and pronounce words, is just soothing!
I’m so incredibly happy for you. A perfect homemade croissant. Congratulations! 🥐🎉
Thank you!🧡
Pastry chef here you did amazing the first fold you did is called a book fold there’s 3 types of fold all together
I have been baking bread for years but I am envious of the patience you have to accomplish this! I will never be making these, lol! It gave me anxiety watching you go through all of these steps. I will forever be grateful for any future croissants I may eat.
you're making me want to break out my dessert person book, and you really sold that ad, the coffee sounded amazing and I don't even drink coffee
Yeah for real, I love hearing her talk about products cause she only supports things that she actually uses
This has been a personal challenge floating in my head for a few years now, after watching you tackle it, I am going to finally try my hand at making croissants.
Sometimes, you watch just to see Emmy enjoy things.
Of course you made them. And they are gorgeous! The crispity exterior is just music. Love your upbeat nature, your realness, your generous invitation to give us all a front seat to every adventure! And giving credit to your "teachers" is just the type honor and respect and validation that I absolutely love about you. Thank you for sharing kindness.
I watched Claire Saffitz video and was in awe of how simple she made it look, loving that Emmy gives us added confidence to try this out!!
Emmys reaction to seeing the things she makes and then tasting them makes me smile 🤗
Wow ❤, this is the first time where I feel “ ya know what, I could make that too”. Your videos always inspire me in some way.
Watching you and your attention to detail, it gives me the confidence to try this myself. You show the process and steps with great clarity and it really helps me. Can't wait to give this a try!
You can see where the cut edges of the dough assisted in the rising. Beautiful.
WOW! Kudos to YOU! That was quite a huge accomplishment! They look beautiful! I didn’t realize how MUCH goes into making them. 😮
That CRUNCH! NEVER heard that from ANY croissant 🥐 before! ❤
O man, Emmy and Claire in the kitchen together would be the cutest!!
omg that crunch! Those layers!! !
So stunning Emmy!! unforgettable crunchy and crispy sounds!
So proud of you emmy they look absolutely delicious! Worth all the hard work
Emmy. I truly hope this video goes crazy viral because the work, time, effort, and love you put into this is truly incredible!!!! I love seeing you happy! It truly makes my heart full ❤️. Priceless ❤️. Thank you so much for sharing with us!
Props to you, Emmy, on nailing this on your first try!
Your channel is the best ad for that Brevile toaster oven. You just make so much magic in it!
Those. Look. AMAZING.
Great job, Emmy!!
Bravo!! Well done, Emmy!!
OUTSTANDING I am saving this episode thank you Emmy
I’m going to attempt to make croissants for thanksgiving because of this video!! 😍 You always make things seem so approachable and achievable. With such grace, to boot! 💖🥰 much love!
This may be my favorite Emmy video. EVER.

I love watching you cook and bake. I love some of the foods you make. Looks very delicious.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. This video gave me so much joy as I am sick with Covid. I am so happy you made these and they came out brilliant. I’ve never had fresh croissants and could only imagine the taste. Well done….YOU DID IT!! 👏👏👏
Wishing you a speedy recovery ❤️🩹! Well wishes!! 🌻
Hope you feel better soon 💕
Omggg this was amazing! You did such a great job Emmy! Way to go! So inspiring to try to make croissants. One day….I will try lol I have to muster up the energy and confidence to do it like you.
I love Claire🥰. I've been watching her for years, starting from her days in the BA kitchen doing her Gourmet versions of different sweets. She's so relatable and her voice is soothing. Emmy and Claire combo is a dream come true🥰🥰
YUM Emmy 🤤🤤🥐🥐 those look amazing!!!
Thank you for these videos. I've been so inspired to cook more and even try baking! I will have to give this recipe a try.
Beautifully done! I’m very impressed
I knew that croissants were challenging to make but didn't realize that they were THIS challenging and labour intensive. I have a new appreciation for croissants! Kudos to Emmy for putting so much hard work and attention into these croissants! They look divine :)
This was quite the process but I was AMAZED with how perfect they came out! You did such a wonderful job! 🥰
Ok...ok. I'm making these too😌😆
That first crunch! Has me sold!
Well, that solidified my dedication to my laziness! LOL
Seriously, wow.
I mean, I knew the lamination process was time consuming but I had no clue of HOW MUCH time. Whew.
Thank you! Cooking shows don't show it the way you did! That's fantastic!
I would gladly watch a series of Emmy making Claire’s recipes!! There’s even potential for a collab.
you can see her inner child so satisfied in the end, soo stinkin cute emmy! those croissants look so yummy :)
OMG it looks so pretty! You did such a good job!
Emmy! You have outdone yourself! Absolutely gorgeous!
And I will bet they taste puuuurrrrfect!
Thanks so much for sharing and all the hard work you do for us!
Merry Christmas dear! 💜💜💜☺️
Shaffitz’s recipe is the best! I took a class in baking croissants in Paris and every time I bake them and Pain au Chocolat, I watch her video and use her recipe.
My husband is taken back to his home of France every time I bake these! It’s the best!
PS: they freeze very well!
Ahhh I can't even tell you in words how much I love this! Have to try it thank you Emmy!
They turned out wonderfully!
Congratulations!
I love how you showed with enough time & skills, its possible to make such yummy-looking laminations.
I covet that bowl
It's totally gnarly to the max
🥣
You killed the thumbnail! It was so funny and it's not clickbait if it delivers and you always deliver
Claire! Omg, yes! This is my favorite video. Watching this at 5am since couldn't wait!
EMMY! YOU DID IT! So much fun!
I love your show Emmy!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
You have given me the confidence to do this!!! I can't wait, it seems like a perfect winter project for myself :)
Omg Thank you so so much for making these! I have been asking for this video for months! 🥐🥐🥐🥐
Your excitement is really fun and cute to see
Looks wonderful, Emmy!!
Those croissants are gorgeous!!! My mouth was watering!
this is such a beautiful process! Croissants (especially almond croissants) are one of my favorite foods. Thank you for sharing this emmy ☺
I’ve always wanted to make these and I’ve seen Claire’s video a lot! I think I will finally have to try it out now that I’ve seen you make it!
These look magical 🤤
I can't tell if the croissants are massive or just look massive compared to Emmy. 😂
They are absolutely magically and MASSIVE. ✨🥐😆
@@emmymade 😍😁
I always love and appreciate how knowledgeable, technical, and articulate Emmy is 😍
And Claire, as well, of course. Kitchen chemists, the lot of ya ❤
This was chef level of skill and execution. Amazing work!
Ohh that first bite killing 🥲🥲......satisfaction 💯
You did such a good job! I am so happy you enjoyed them as much as you did! They were beautiful!
yay i remember you saying you wanted to try this in a video a while ago so glad you did
Yes, indeed. The day has finally come.🤩
Stunning, stunning, stunning, you did freaking awesome job making them, I've never tried, but after watching you successfully do it, they don't seem as scary, brilliant video Emmy 👍🏼👍🏼🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘Cheers from Melbourne Australia
When she took that first crunchy bite until she said, “sublime” I think our souls met…at that moment I could feel how good those were 😂
The fruits of your labor! You did an amazing job again Emmy! I could definitely taste the crosssiant that was as big as your head!! ❤️
When I heard Emmy saying the name “Claire Saffitz” my face just lighted up with joy 🤩
Use day-old stale croissants to make almond croissants. cut in half and fill with frangipane. Egg wash, sprinkle almonds on top, and bake until toasted. This is how patisseries makes their almond croissants!
Bravooo .. patience and skill shows it all. Yummie. 🤤🤤
I applaud you! Those are gorgeous croissants! I don't think I'll ever attempt making them but I throughly enjoyed watching you. Very educational.
Well done Emmy, they looked absolutely amazing 🤩
this is sop satisfying to watch!!!!
You made real chefs-d'oeuvre. So complex and time consuming! It's a full time job, all my admiration for pastry chefs. Bravo Emmy. 😚👌🥐☕
Been waiting for this since the insta story!!! I'm soooo excited! Love having emmy before bed
These turned out so great! 👍
Well done. Those croissants look delicious!!! 🤤 😋
Delicious 🤤 I can hear, the crunch! All the way to Barrie Ontario Canada
What I learned from this video is that I'll definitely never make croissants. But I always enjoy watching you make anything.
Beautiful job!!!
The amount of effort it take to make just makes me appreciate them more.
You are brave Emmy! Croissants were the only thing that made cry (and storm out of the classroom) in pastry school. It was traumatic. Lol
Oooh that flaky buttery crunch when you first bite in! Heaven, Magic and Ecstasy!!! ❤
