More to come! But it takes a while…
@dino_dc we got patience and all the time for you Dino ❤
I think you already achieved the goal of yours to bring as many legendary shops in japan to us here on yt - often enough you proofed it. I dont know anyone else who is showing this wide spectrum of japan car culture in this quality (sometimes other countries beside japan too) I obsolutly love your videos - cars, moode, details, music - ❤
Thanks so much, happy to hear that 🙏🏻
Had fond memories of Veilside showcasing their drag cars in my home country Singapore back in 2000. My favorite has to be the R34 street drag as the aero was wild!
Even bought a Veilside shirt back then and still donning it today!
12:00 was my dream car from the first time I saw this at Tokyo Auto Salon Singapore.
Thanks for showing us the legendary Veilside shop! It is so cool to see all these awesome projects in detail.
Back in 1997, I was introduced to JDM builds and I was downloading Veilside demo cars on dial-up internet. I always loved his paint codes. The first Fortune Supra at TAS was my favorite.
Man I miss the glory days of that showroom haha. It used to look so cool in the magazines, but honestly, it looks cooler now with all the cars, parts and memorabilia everywhere. Back in the "Shogun Erebuni" days Veilside was probably the most copied body kit ever in the US. It's great to see they are still relevant decades later. Their A90 Supra kit is my favorite for that platform! Thanks for another great video!
These shop videos are pure gold. Thank you for the insight
Its the Veilside Mark IV Supra which i think super iconic in the 90's. the kit was radically dope looking
Thanks Dino, really cool video....I visited this shop in late 2002 and the carpark was filled with tuned GTRs, Supras, Evos etc. We got a full tour of the showroom from one of the staff, he was involved in exports I think. I still have his business card, the brochure and a few souvenirs. Definitely a special memory!
I can't believe l'm only discovering your channel now.. 😅
I love all jdm car content, finding that you do shop tours with additional shop history is an added bonus 👌 I'm all about it!
Glad you like them!
I wish I can go back in time and go to the Veilside showroom in the 90s
Dino, keep up the good work! I appreciate the inside look at Japanese auto culture, it’s amazing.
Thanks! Will do 💪🏻
Amazing! It was a trip down memory lane, when Veilside kit were available for some cars in the SRS game or my first years of university when my roommate wasa le to bring me videos of Best Motoring and Option video. One question, did Inada-san drive a Veilside R34 at NZ?
Yeah, supposedly made 1360 hp from a 2.7 RB with twin HKS turbos, clocked 215 MPH.
Uhm not sure it that was him, I’ll have to look back at those old videos
@@dino_dc It was Go Go Daijiro: ua-cam.com/video/_fp5op7Wfxc/v-deo.html
Absolute trip down memory lane here Dino thanks so much for sharing! Seeing some of those iconic cars that I had magazine pullouts of circa 20 years ago still gracing the Veilside shop ❤ delighted to see they are still moving with the times yet staying true to their roots. They were part of my inspiration, my own mk4 supra wears Veilside arches! 👌🤙
VeilSide are absolutely iconic. Circa early to mid 2000s, their design language was everywhere in Australia. It was the hottest style, and whilst not my thing, VS were so well known. I mean, most of the VS kits were blatant knock offs, but we all knew the reference instantly.
They aren’t a brand I think of much now, and obviously times have changed and the space they operate in is so different, but I love how resolute they are and they’re still putting out unique designs.
Enjoyed this.
More of this please! Incredible video as always. Keep pushing. I love your content.
Thank you! Will do!
What a place could get lost in there for hour's. Looking forward to update. 😎😎👊👊👍👍👌👌✌✌
Great coverage, once again!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I keep saying this, but another awesome shop tour! Love the orange Z ! 👌💯🤙
Veliside is the most famous bodykit brand world wide they re known in every country .
yet again DDC you brought us an amazing video keep up the great work man i F love your videos amaing
i prefer the original color in the FD rax7 build not the orange
Thanks so much!
Thanks again Dino for the bliztering work on making the Legendary shop tours available for us other petrol heads that not have the opportunities, to be with you on the journey, its really inspiring, & refreshing, i being really ignited when seeing more of the Legendary shops/tuners these days
seems to go moore back to their beginnings,& making projects of 70s & such & still make them Na`s with some modern implementations :-) keep them coming :D Thanks again Sincerely Ivan
Thanks Ivan!
Veilside will always have a special place to me seeing them at the Auto Salon 2006 or 07 with diamond Ferrari
That look in your eyes, 10 seconds in, proves how important some of this stuff is. It looks like you’re gathering for the words that you need/want to describe it with and it’s powerful.
❤️
Another total banger video (as usual) Dino!
Thank you 🙏🏻
Sweet. Love the content as always. Thanks Dino.
12:00 my dream car
Very cool to see this. I remember when they started out. I was just out of high school and was able to land a VS front end for my ‘96 civic a few years later. Man this brings back memories. Thanks for sharing Dino 🙌🏻
Right on!
Nice video.
Waiting for scale car shop tours!
FREAKING AWESOME CARS, thanks for sharing, Also thank you to the shop
as always fabulous content👌
Thank you ❤️
Thank u for showing the Veilside Z32 .🔥. The camera angles u use in ur videos are always on point! I try to mimic how you shoot cars in the videos on my channel. Nowhere near as skilled as u are but hopefully I can get there. Ur an inspiration bro! Hope to meet u one day if I can get out to Japan in the next couple of years 🤞🏽.
Thanks man! Keep up shooting and practicing!
Great to see inside veilside never really been shown before keep it up dino
That Veilside RX-7 lives rent free in my head and is the reason I love orange cars. F&F3 was terrible as a movie but damn if the theme and the cars didn't slap more than any other one in the franchise.
What a banger of a video thanks sooooooo much!!!
One love ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Everyone forgets the years of work they put in at Yatabe
always like their kit on the new Z. specially the front end treatment. very aggressive. veilside always gives me the japanese mafia vibe hahaha 😅😁
Been wanting stuff from them for z33 for long time
Wow another great shop tour, the new Z looks wicked. Can’t wait to see the new GTR.
Dannggg this was a fun vid. Keep it comin
Thanks! Will do!
Nice touch to colour-match your glasses to the Z ;-)
Wasn't planned lol
Really interested in seeeingvthe Cedric.... I wish more shops like this one a Pandem would focus more on 70s cars
Like the Datsun 610 *cough cough*
Incredible Dino!!!!!
Matching glasses!
Cool and informative content Dino! Just subbed!
Awesome, thank you!
Nissan Skyline R34 LBWK I think you must review it 😊
Great video! Please do Jun 😊
Keep up the great content I like the shop tours, just a question since jou spoke about Veilside doing drag racing back in the day is drag racing still a thing in Japan and if so then why doesn't anyone cover these event's
Nah it’s pretty much dead
@@dino_dc why is that though look I know it costs a lot of money and noise levels can be a problem but surely the tuning shops and car people in Japan are aware of what countries like the USA Australia UK and even here in my own backwaeds country of South Africa are doing with Japanese car's and engines i.e quarter mile times and speeds maybe you or any of the other UA-cam guys in Japan could explain this property in a video anyway keep up the good work
Do you think its a sign Veilside is still doing well seeing that their showroom and coffee area have turned into work spaces, or are they having any issues?
It’s no secret the went through issues years back but it’s great to see them back and doing good 👍🏻
Hi Dino! Is it possible to visit Checkshop? I’ve never seen anyone that has been able to tour their workshop. Love the vids!
Definitely 👍🏻
AB Flug next.
It is amazing.
I am a fan ❤
Do you think Japan needs more shops/garages to work on cars? What do you think of a western mechanic thinking of moving to Japan and opening a new shop/garage?
Does that sound plausible, especially in regards to the recent scandal with Big motor, which in my opinion will open a vacuum for car repair/maintenance services.
Not sure, not really my area, one thing about Japan is that it’s all way more complicated compared to any other country so research thoroughly ahead
@@dino_dc thanks for the input!
Epic
Epic vid bruh...
Thank you 🤙🏻
Funny to see how much less space the shops have compared to your us visit. Wild. Cool video once again, chief.
Relatively speaking there's not often we see 300 zx's. Is there a reason for that? Is it not a very good car?
There just aren’t that many around any more
Subbed!
Thank you and welcome onboard!
did you wear the orange glasses on purpose dino ?
Haha no
@@dino_dc damn ! I was sure of that haha
Dino, how do you have so many god level contacts which make vids like these possible?
Been shooting in Japan for 20 years, worked with all of these shops countless times before :)
@@dino_dc it's awesome man absolutely love your stuff. Are you speedhunters or do you work for them?
Wishlist, Osaka jdm shop visit
Oh we have a list as long as a car don’t you worry 😂
@@dino_dc 😂😂😂
❤❤
Hey Dino! Thanks for doing a detailed walkthrough of VeilSide's shop. This is probably the best one on UA-cam. Wanted to pop in here and let ya know that I also own VeilSide's original C1 Combat Evolution Nissan 300zx TT demo car up here in Canada. You can check the story behind this VeilSide demo car here. Pretty crazy story! ua-cam.com/video/tASqhQ4Jk_0/v-deo.html
FUCK YES
👍🏻
This shop is a mess....creative mess...I love it!
Wondering where they are tested to be " Aero "
That’s the Japanese way to say body kit
No wonder there behind the Aussies in time attack@@dino_dc
while we are on with the legendary shops of japan, how much the likes of Fabulous, Junction etc? 😁
sooooo fucking cool! 😳😍
👍🏽👍🏽
What movie is coming 2025?
Some thing about cars…
Thank you for this! I used to limewire veilside vids and their R32 and the top speed vids in NZ of their R34 were my favorite videos to watch🔥🔥🫶🫶
Glad you enjoyed it!
