It appears these two O teams are the two best in the nation when they’re healthy and it is going to come down to who brings their A game. I think the sec has more mid level teams that have the ability to beat both these teams. They would both have two losses if they were playing there but still be the two best teams. Just an opinion and could be wrong.

I agree the ducks looked beatable against Wisconsin, but the play calling in that game, specifically at the end of the first half as well as the fake field goal at the end of the game, implied that the Oregon coaching staff never took the Wisconsin offense all that seriously. Dan Lanning has proven himself to be a savvy tactician. He knows that to win a national championship, you'll now have to be prepared to win a minimum of three tough games in a row, keeping some plays hidden until the right time. With all that in mind, are the ducks beatable? Possibly, the Wisconsin game might even be a sign they're trending in the wrong direction. But there's also a chance they've been holding back, and they might even hold back in the B1G championship game, keeping their eye on the true prize. I just hope the officials crew is solid. Let the players earn the win on the field. I believe the first Duck vs Buckeye game was very physical in the passing game with the receiving corps. I am hoping for a well played game for both teams and the nation is on the edge of their seats the entire game. If Gabriel plays solid and the Duck defense keeps playing as well as they have been they should take home a Big 10 title.
I feel that the game between the Huskies and Ducks - is gonna be Oregon's " Trap " game since the Ducks have lost to the Huskies 3 x over the last 2 years. Last year it was in a regular season game and the PAC-12 Championship game. More then likely the Ducks have been playing better so they will be favored but in sports any one can beat any one else at any time. I will be watching this game intensely.
I think it's a shame that the Duck's didn't play every Original Big 10 program this year just for you Craig. They don't call it the Midwest offense for a reason. The west coast offense doesn't shred the best defenses any better than any other scheme after all. What it does is put up big numbers vs weak defenses and big numbers build media exposure and player recognition. Some young athletes like to be noticed. University of Oregon and their Sponsors noticed this over thirty years ago. But then, Year after year, QB after QB, thru all those coaches that knew the issue but only brought lip service for the defense. The coverage was always great against most of the other west coast teams. 2011 was a good example of the inevitable outcome of trying to outgun an opponent with a better defense. This current Ducks team is a hope realized in the fan base. From the top down there's a commitment to doing what it takes to maximize the potential of each player. It's about character and respect now. Every team they meet this year will have to believe they can win and they will because there are nothing but the best left to beat. They will have to bring their best game because I don't believe Oregon's axe is ground yet. Whoever will have a gut check before the first third down on offense or defense. That's the difference I'm seeing. This team grinds in the trenches at speed. Not only is the shift towards a more capable defense, It's a shift to a more physical game comprehensively!! There is discipline and physicality on both sides of the ball at every position. Innovation and timely decisions on the sidelines? plays drawn up for linemen to score?
Finally someone says it. Yes Oregon and Ohio State are the two best teams in the country. I’m a Duck fan and I have a ton of respect for Ohio State. It feels like the SEC has such hold on society that everyone’s afraid to say it. It feels like we have to give SEC teams a nod every year whether they deserve it or not. Granted they usually deserve it but I don’t think so this year. We’ve played musical chairs with which team is supposed to be the next best thing since sliced bread. The SEC is tough but none of them stand out. Ok had to edit Texas maybe? I do t know what to think about them. One more thing I believe over time the Big ten will catch up and surpass the SEC. It will take years to do so but I think that’s what I see. The Big ten is across the country where the SEC is in the south. The TV deals will change things over time. I admit I’m thinking this over in front everyone lol. It’s a little uncomfortable. 😬
The way the playoff system is set up it is a possible scenario that Oregon and Ohio State could play a total of three times depending if each team continues to win and how they are placed, what if the ducks win in the conference championship and would lose to Ohio State in the National championship, who actually is the better team, Ohio State at 1-2 or Oregon at 2-1, is that a flaw with the system on how they place team, curious on others opinions.

Huge duck fan here. Any team can beat any team on a given night. No, Oregon is beatable, just like any team in college football. But they can also win the national championship, just like 11 other teams that will go to the playoffs.
5th Seed in College Playoff most likely will have a EASIER Path to the Natty ESPECIALLY those 1st 2 Games....@ home vs 12th Seed then that 4th Seed in Quarterfinals.Oregon could get a Rose Bowl game vs that 4th Seed.Basically they play there nearly every year.

Which teams haven’t? Ohio State with Michigan? Is that your logic? All teams have to prove themselves and all lose till they win. But you OSU fans are overrated and overconfident. Oregon should have played Oklahoma State. Beat three OSU teams in 1 season.
Wow! Oregon is undefeated in the Big 10 and in their first year as a newbie from the PAC 12. It kind of makes the rest of the nation wonder if all the talk that the Big 10 is the best in the nation is a bunch of fluff, smoke, and screen from the talking media heads. Who knew the PAC 12 was a better conference? It is also curious just how Texas as a newbie from the Big 12 to the SEC is dominating that conference also. I guess the SEC and Big 10 are not as strong as we all thought they were. I mean, why didn't it take Oregon and Texas a couple of years to start winning if the Big 10 and the SEC are the best conferences in the nation at college football?
First, every power conference of the last 40 years has bad teams, regardless of whether that conference collapsed, expanded or had teams switch. While the PAC 12 had 200 more NCAA championships than second place SEC, that was driven by softball, track, volleyball and soccer, and some success in basketball with Oregon having 1 title and UCLA had 11. The SEC has dominated in football but only in last 25 years. Oregon was built for the Big 10 and so was Texas for the SEC. The southern states have big players and big population to recruit. Oregon has recruited the best of all former PAC 12 schools. Something you need to compete for nattys. So am I surprised? No. Does it mean Oregon or Texas will win the championship? No. Winning and recruiting well, helps win games even in a new conference. It recruits better coaching also. It recruits better player development also. It also leads to better scheduling in non conference games. You do want to beat better teams, do you? All teams play cupcakes in any sport. That is a given. The SEC has fewer irrelevant teams than the Big 10 which is now top heavy like the former PAC 12. But it’s an upgrade for Oregon. The only former team they will play outside the conference is little brother in Corvallis. Ohio State benefits from having better competition in the conference from Oregon. You want the other invites to play well also. I love that Indiana is good, but like Penn State, they both missed Oregon. Here is my problem. The SEC plays one less conference game and they play the worse non conference teams. Mercer, Alabama fans? Not fair to say they are a better conference when they play by different rules than everyone else. The likelihood that a team joins 2007’s LSU as a two or three loss champion is real high. The Ducks are the only undefeated FBS Division 1 school. Usually there is about three at this juncture of the season. It will make going undefeated harder as one must win 16 games or 17 games at minimum. Maybe the semifinals losers should play after the championship game for third place. Make it interesting.
@@nickchislom9499Nice try you two. Ducks will win. Make it three in a row over Ohio State. Yankees were confident vs Dodgers and then they gave up 12 RBIs to Freeman and three errors in Game 5’s fifth inning.
I think Alabama at 13 and probably sneaking in to the playoffs is a joke, anyother conference with a 3 loss (2 to unranked teams) would never be placed in top 15 or 20 likely.
Ss a Duck fan, OSU looks like the better team overall, i think they will win the rematch, which isn't a big deal because it seems as though the 5th seed is easier
Oregon is beatable but there are 3 teams that scare me Texas is a big team big time WR and Oregon has short corners UGA should scare everyone they are arguably the best team in the nation when they play 4 quarters and carson beck dosnt lose the game for them.then ohio state they seem like UGA alot with exception to the QB issues Ohio State is probably the only team that can end a game in a single quarter the other 8 teams i dont really care Notre Dame hasnt won in the post season in how many years 10 or 20 years i think miami struggled against a ton of lesser teams smu is a 1st year team in big big football and the acc is soft big 12 is worse than the MWC
Oregon won on its own field and played really well. Dillon Gabriel looked as good as he has all year. Despite those advantages Ohio State could have easily won that game. Move to the B10 championship game and not only will the crowd be pro-Buckeye, but Ohio State looks a lot better now. I see Ohio State winning in Indy, it could be a double-digit win and again if they meet in the playoffs.
If they lose to Oregon again they would be lucky to make it to the natty there are alot of good teams in the SEC not to mention there 1st playoff game would probably be on the road against TN or GA
did oregon play a real away game this year. as usual, no. OSU kills them in columbus. The ducks will choke in the playoffs. They aren't the zeros for nothing.
32-31 home court 3 hours jet lag and all noise against OSU. By 1 point?? Plus OSU got some internal stuff to be sorted out back then. Now, playing next door with opponent travel 3 hours time zones. How many top 10 teams has Ducks played this year while OSU beat 2 top 5 teams after that 1 point loss? Duck is good. But I wouldn't think they get a better chance this time.
So now we’re counting the points you lost by? Are you counting that touchdown the refs gave you after botching the interception? The fact is, the Ducks didn’t even play well. Botched an extra point, then tried to get it back by going for 2. Missed a wide open Tez Johnson on 4th down at the goal line. Played a bad game and won…
We won with arguably our best defensive player out. In addition we had an interception not reviewed on osu first drive that led to points. A muffled extra point snap, that cost 1 point and osu offense line is current in shambles. All things considered, I like oregon by 4 points in Indy.
Yep Buckeyes quote me will beat the Ducks in the Big 10 after that game with osu that schedule been soft they didnt play penn st or indiana on the road they will make it to the Big championship and lose..
yes, just put pressure on Dillon and see what happens. He will make bad choices and throw even more pics. He throws low and behind his receivers. Play where the ball is going and not the wideout and you will have a pic. Oregon will loose the champ game and then first round of playoff. Oregon's play calling has been terrible . no flow to it. If these things don't change then my comment will hold true.
The Ducks could lose to anyone who makes it to the playoffs. That said the only teams I fear are Ohio St, Texas and Georgia and we already beat one of them.
The SEC had more embarrassing losses to unranked teams than any other power conference. The SEC is like Harris vs Trump. Going down to defeat by being an overstuffed turkey. Gobble gobble.

I like the ducks if they win big 10 chip
If Oregon meets Ohio State and beats them by two scores in the BIG10 championship then they can win a national tittle. If not, anyone can win it.
Oregon can beat them all if they play the A game .. I like their chances
Smoked duck coming soon
By the hands of Brutus and his Buckeyes in Indy on 12/07/24. #GoBucks
@@nickchislom9499Nice try you two. Ducks will win. Make it three in a row over Ohio State. Yankees were confident vs Dodgers and then they gave up 12 RBIs to Freeman and three errors in Game 5’s fifth inning.
"And DOWN goes Frazier" ~ The late great Howard Cosell.
Yes, when the bucks see them in the big 10 championship
That's what I'm saying. 💯🌰🌰🌰💯
Washington leads, 63-48-5
Think Vegas has OSU over the Ducks.
I would say Ohio St they to Oregon on Oregon home which is said to be worth three points on a neutral field I take Ohio State
sounds gud craig. ohio st sceaes me
YES! BOISE STATE! 😂
I think Alabama at 13 and probably sneaking in to the playoffs is a joke, anyother conference with a 3 loss (2 to unranked teams) would never be placed in top 15 or 20 likely.
You are kidding ?
THE SEC TEAMS WILL PANTS OREGON OR OHIO ST
On an y given day anyone can be beaten!🤔
Until you put the DUCKS LOGO on your main wall I can't take anything you say seriously 😄😄
You're hoping to God 😂..so scared it's pathetic you spam this
We'll see if it's the same refs that gave OSU that first drive in the first matchup or not.
A lot of cope.
The refs about only ones who can beat them
Indiana will in the CFP.
Boise State has two lapses on special teams or they would have beat them
Buckeyes will beat them in the BiG championship.
Total click bait. To answer the question...YES! If not in Indy on 12/7/24. Then on January 20, 2025 for the Natty vs the Buckeyes!!!
Must be nice to know the future. Your a lucky fella
Not only did you click but you gave a very specific opinion on the matter. Thanks for checking us out!
If they lose to Oregon again they would be lucky to make it to the natty there are alot of good teams in the SEC not to mention there 1st playoff game would probably be on the road against TN or GA
Could be in the Rose Bowl if they are on the same side of the bracket.
@trevorstewart7176 in that regard, althea team might WANT to lose to face an easier path to the championship game...
did oregon play a real away game this year. as usual, no.
@@gwoody right! I hate these Ohios State glazing azz fans
@@gwoody can't really talk logic to an Ohio State fan man.
We won with arguably our best defensive player out. In addition we had an interception not reviewed on osu first drive that led to points. A muffled extra point snap, that cost 1 point and osu offense line is current in shambles. All things considered, I like oregon by 4 points in Indy.
That is why the games are played.
A crappy Wisconsin team nearly beat them and so did OSU. Do better.
I had Duck growing up and it sucks. Could not pay me to eat it!
Yep Buckeyes quote me will beat the Ducks in the Big 10 after that game with osu that schedule been soft they didnt play penn st or indiana on the road they will make it to the Big championship and lose..
Hope you like Duck soup with 🌰
yes, just put pressure on Dillon and see what happens. He will make bad
choices and throw even more pics. He throws low and behind his
receivers. Play where the ball is going and not the wideout and you will have
a pic. Oregon will loose the champ game and then first round of playoff.
Oregon's play calling has been terrible . no flow to it. If these things don't
change then my comment will hold true.
Swap Oregon for Ohio State and you could say the same.
A lot of hoping here.
Put down the bong, Buckeye.
@@ninefingerjack I do like Howard. he has the size to be an nfl qb.
i think he will do well in the pro set . take care, college ball is the best.
I think Georgia could beat them as well
The Ducks could lose to anyone who makes it to the playoffs. That said the only teams I fear are Ohio St, Texas and Georgia and we already beat one of them.
Try again, my Nittany Lions 🦁, and we aren't ever scared of anyone!!!!! WE ARE, you aren't
Half the SEC can pound them into Peking duck.
It's ok to dream,lol.
Of course a Texas fan is putting forth this luke warm IQ take...
The SEC had more embarrassing losses to unranked teams than any other power conference.
The SEC is like Harris vs Trump. Going down to defeat by being an overstuffed turkey. Gobble gobble.
@donaldjones9830
Yeah, some of those games were rigged, too!
@@ninefingerjack Yeah, but you cannot even count to double digits. Lumberjacking is for those who fail at street sweeping.
If they played in the SEC they would have atleast 2 losses.
Oregon won't win the big10 title period. Nuff said.
Ok, but only because you said so 😂
Says a Kamala supporter about Trump. You people are so pathetic. Get some new material.
When they meet in the Big Ten Championship, Ohio State, will beat Oregon! IF both play their game they will meet in the National Championship!
