My 2013 sportsman 550 limited edition with EPS wont start the dash lights up all lights turn on battery is full but when i turn the key it wont crank. After a few seconds handle bars lock and the EPS warning indicator lights up. I’m sure that’s a whole other issue but either way atv should still start any idea why it won’t crank. No clicking no nothing, I have also held the hand brake in as I was aware of that cause it’s in the manual lol

If you have a 570 with EPS and it's having a hard time starting, wiggle the handlebars back and forth while turning the key. I have to do that on mine about 50% of the time to get it to start.
Man i got that sportsman 570 2015 that's been a headache. I got a crank and no start. If you stay on the throttle as your starting you can get it to run probably 1 out of 3 times and then you gotta keep giving gas until it warms up, once it's warm it runs just fine. I know it's something simple to cause it ran fine one weekend, put it away, next weekend took it to the same trails and never got it running.
Changed the plug, got a new battery. Seems like a fuel issue but I don't no nothing about how to check for that. Maybe it's the fuel pump but I'd be just guessing at that point

I got a 2016 polaris sportsman 850 XP EFI randomly stoped starting I go to turn the key over and it just clicks the fuse box clicks and there's no cranking I also tryed pulling in the brake for ground wasn't it I also have a wiring problem my tail lights are messed up mayby that's apart of it idk

So how do you by pass the break pressure bull shit bc I had took my rear caliper off and I didn’t have any back pressure for my breaks and it wouldn’t start. I had to put bolts in my rear lines and I have to pump my breaks up to get pressure to start the atv I got a rear caliper I’m about to put on it I’m just wondering
Replace your caliper as usual and bleed the system until you get a good firm brake lever. If your machine still doesn’t start while going through the starting procedure then change the brake pressure sensor.

Ah hell I have that problem sometimes on my touring sp 570
It’s possible those are fuel injected so if you’re putting fuel in it is not running the injector pulse is not spraying it correctly.

Use spanner to tap the starter motor few taps and start ir. Most likely ita brushes need replacing inside starter.
