Florida State got screwed because ESPN and the NCAA saw all the ad money and television viewers by matching Alabama with Michigan. The NCAA is about business and not football.

Ok I’m a bit biased here as a UGA fan but genuinely I believe Alabama is a better team than FSU. Putting FSU up against UGA in the orange bowl is smart though. If Georgia wins, it shuts everyone up about FSU not making playoffs. The problem comes if Georgia shits the bed again and loses…
The problem with this line of thinking is that many players with NFL aspirations will see this game as meaningless and sit out. It will not reflect anything about the actual strength of GA or FSU. This game will not prove a thing.
The AP has its own college football national champion trophy The AP is not bound by the CFP, currently they have FSU number 4. If the Seminoles beat Georgia and either Texas or Alabama wins the CFP, there is a chance we could have a contested national champion. If FSU finishes undefeated the AP should make FSU their national champion regardless of what happens in the CFP.
The CFP used whatever logic or stats to justify leaving FSU out over Bama and/or Texas. If it’s the 4 best teams then why FSU over Georgia/why isn’t Georgia top 4 after having won 29 straight games to only lose by 3 points to Bama of all people???

As a Texas Longhorns fan, while I’m happy that we got in, I’m pissed at the level of BS being used to justify not putting the Seminoles in the playoffs. The whole “starting QB is injured” being the “reason” the committee chose is such a non factor, especially since their second and third QBs are just as good. And don’t think upping the teams from 4 to 12 will make a difference. It will still be the same group of idiots choosing who get in or not in the end. I mean, are they even watching the games to decide who gets in or not, or having their interns doing the leg work and only choosing from the “stats” after the game are done?
If I’ve learned anything from the internet, it is to not mess with a Floridian. All jokes aside, this was an absolute travesty and the committee needs to be reevaluated immediately. There has never been more evidence of corruption in the world of college football. As an NC State fan, I side with FSU. I’m really looking forward to this new playoff bracket, as teams that are P5 and undefeated cannot be looked down upon as in this instance. They will still earn a spot in the playoffs and the chance to show what they are capable of. There is no excuse for the actions of the committee. Whether these spots were chosen by favoritism, popularity, bribery, etc. this behavior is not acceptable. They better hope that this doesn’t turn into something bigger, but I really hope it does.

A. Alabama beat the #1 team in the country and Texas lost to OU
B. Washington played a much
much tougher schedule than Michigan and it’s not close IMO beating the 5th ranked team and being undefeated is better than beating the 16th ranked Iowa and being undefeated
@@colejeffreygardner9922 Texas dominated Bama in Bama. The rest of what you said doesn't matter at that point. Saying Bama got dominated at home by the team that lost to OU doesn't help alabamas case, just an fyi.
Both Bama and Georgia looked terrible at the end of the season also while Texas looked like the best team in the country.
As an FSU fan I thought we were back, we were back, and then ESPN and he committee ripped it away. Also I hate NC State with a passion
Too easy schedule imo, it was the right decision
Bro, y'all shouldn't be in the top ten with that 55th sos
If you had a statement win over Louisville you would’ve gotten the 4 spot

@@karlketamine8172 3rd SOR tho. And Undefeated conference champ
Sorr but they didn't get lwft out because they lost their QB, they got left out because we saw their backups play determined that the drop off was significant. FSU didn't deserve to be there, neither did TCU or Cincinnati. The CFP committee got it right.
These are always hilarious and SPOT ON😂😂😂😂😂😂
All people who think they did fsu dirty and espn is evil
👇
Can I like ur comment 1000 times?
Lol they’re evil for choosing a different team?
I guess the first one is true because I know the second is
For choosing and hoping they get Alabama vs Texas round 2 seeing as how the first time it was and still is their highest rated game watched.
Florida state will get waxed by Georgia in a bowl game.. feel dumb yet?
Hi
12 team playoff = more ways for corruption.
The grift goes on and on and on and on.
great vid.😊
As a Michigan fan I be chilling
Because god forbid the SEC be denied a national championship just once
why would they? they are the best conference; you cannot have a legit playoffs without the best teams in it, you do not get to screw over teams because if your jealousy
@@tbewin1z143 Most of their wins are BS easy wins because they pay bad schools to lose to them.
@@tbewin1z143it's but screwing them over if they don't deserve it. 2017 we had two sec teams in when only one earned it. 2011 we had an sec vs sec national championship despite Oklahoma State actually winning their conference, having a tougher sos then bama, and having more top 25 wins than bama. The sec hasn't had to actually earn several of their recent titles because they keep screwing teams over for the sec
@@wesleyowens4089FSU cannot compete with their backups and their schedule was not near good enough to complain
@@tbewin1z143 based on what? They played 3 games without Jordan Travis and won all of them by multiple possessions. In that same timeframe we saw Georgia barely beat Georgia tech, bama barely beat Auburn, Michigan barely beat Maryland, and Washington barely beat Oregon State. They even beat a top 15 team with their 3rd string QB who is a true freshman playing his first ever start and he would not have been the QB that played in the playoffs. There is nothing that has happened on the field of play to even suggest FSU is playing worse without Travis. FSU struggled against Boston college (who is worse than Florida) and Clemson (who is worse than Louisville) also FSU beat Florida and Louisville way more comfortably than they beat Boston college or Clemson
First.
