Those tips at the end feel like a major key I was missing. my maps are going to look 100x better now. I've watched tons of tutorials and no one has mentioned that stuff before.
Hey thanks for the tutorial, so much value. Everything was explained in very simple terms my only problem was the dotted lines having that blue line connecting them, you had it too but when you click away from the layer it disappears but it doesn't for me
It shouldn't show up in final render it's just the selection there is a setting to turn off the selection preview when not selected if you search for it
Nice tutorial, sir! I have a request, please do things a bit more slowly, as you are moving too fast in the tutorial. This makes it difficult for beginners like me to keep up and may cause us to miss important information in learning it.
@@ExplainerVFX Thanks for replying , Quick question i have a problem or an issue in after effects preview screen get lagging and its says 0.25 fps realtime , By the way i have an high end pc also 36 fast rams
Aftereffects isn't optimized well to run on good hardware so oftentimes if you have good specs after effects will still be lagging because it's not using it properly. You can go window -> preview and skip every 2 frames (or more) and that helps a lot when working with geolayers. Also drop your quality down. Make sure you don't finalize the comp until the very end because the images are really big and will make everything slower. The more effects you have that require calculations the longer your ram renders will be
As a coach or educator. There is also a crucial piece part of the tutorial that creates a barrier to trust with your viewers. You started helping us on a presumption that everyone has and understands Geolayers 3, what a grave mistake. If you’re going to make it a tutorial to achieve X goal, why single out users who only use that one specific plug-in? Isn’t it for all users who use AE and want to make better maps?
This is for more intermediate people who know geolayers 3 already. there are many geolayers for beginners on other channels but no one covers more advanced subjects which is the audience I am for.
