So any idea on the loss of cam timing? Water pump not seized and timing belt intact. You mentioned belt was loose. Belt tensioner failure? So belt skipped a tooth or two, knocking the timing out? Ultimately the engine is a write off but it’s always good to know the cause of failure. Thanks for your videos Bryn. They’ve genuinely kept my TTs on the road

Yeah, replaced head and exhaust manifold.
Should have removed the headbolts
I did in the end- pulled them before without having to remove them fully, plus it was funny standing on the engine 😂
