I just love seeing Aurora perform with an orchestra, so magical. She performed one song, with a full orchestra, at London's Royal Albert Hall titled "Take me back home" for the upcoming BBC nature series "Frozen Planet 2". That performance is on UA-cam.

She used her socks as sock puppets on the way off stage in this performance. So fun. 110% just herself, even on a fancy stage like this one.

Years of tears of fear, forgiveness, sadness, happiness that I have so needed to allow to heal the way they were meant to is helped to flow by AURORA's music and existence. I didn't hear the song "The River" until a month or two after I first started crying to to her music. Then I heard "The River" and it all made sense. This performance was wonderful. Thank you for posting.

Next world tour with Orchestra?
Unfortunately that would most likely not happen, because it's far to expensive. Take a look at the ticket prices and the size of the venues of more famous (and financially successful) artists like Adele or Billie Eilish and compare it to Aurora.
As long as she is performing only with her band (and sometimes with a limited amount of dancers), it's possible for Aurora to ensure relatively low ticket prices. And as far as I know, affordable prizes are not an unimportant thing for her. And I'm pretty sure, that the majority of the 'warriors and weirdos' wouldn't appreciate (or even can even effort it), if her ticket prices are on the same level of these other artists.
In all examples, where Aurora worked with an orchestra she didn't had to finance the venue by herself but was invited to do it (this concert is a good example for that). She is a successful artist, but she is by no means rich enough to take the risk of financing such type of event with so many people involved on her own.
@@i_am_m3384 Unfortunately, you are correct. She could maybe pull off the major cities; LA, NYC, London, Paris, Mexcio City etc. Even that would be a feat. I've always thought that she should do an acoustic tour. That would cut expenses dramatically. Smaller venues potentially, but they would sell out and she could leave room for adding nights in the Major cities. So maybe the next album will be more stripped down and she will follow it with an acoustic tour.
I know it's a dream, but it would be great if she could do an orchestral tour, bringing only herself and her songs, guest of resident orchestras from time to time. Almost every major city or capital has its own resident symphony orchestra and its own concert hall.
I would pay the due, instead dreaming costs nothing 🙂

I'm glad she prioritize affordability. Her Asian gig next year are reasonably priced with a decent theater, seated venue and I can't be thankful enough for that for her
