Great unboxing impressions, thank you. I just received my Atowak Cobra, which is my only wandering hour watch with rotating bocks-my others have discs (Atowak Ettore Drift, Angles Three Kings.) I thought about the Phantasos, but the deal-breaker was the lack of number scale (0..5..10..._) as the others have. I LOVE quirky, but I want it easy to read. With just dashes, it seems like it would take longer to figure what time it is, rather just just at a glance like the Cobra. If the Phantasos Cyclops had a similar scale, I would more strongly consider it. I have a number of 3-hand traditional watches with just dashes, which I have no issues reading, I guess it's just that something new & radical takes getting used to. I'm also looking forward to receiving my Xeric Scrambler, has the 0-60 scale at the top. Another issue common with Wandering hour watches is lack of a second hand. My Three Kings does have a sweep second hand, so why not on others? My Behrens Spaceship, I don't know if it can be called a wandering hours watch but has 2 rotating discs for hours & minutes plus a sweep second hand, & it's the only wandering hour-type watch in this price range (that I know of) with a date window.
Thanks and yes I agree on the scale issue with the Phantasos, I was thinking the same. On a full 360 you can still guess quite accurately, but when you use only 120 degrees it’s really too little space and the difference with the Atowal in how accurately you can read time is evident.
I purchased this exact model Phantasos in May from their website. I got a confirmation of order email a week after ordering and then silence for 3 months. Suddenly I got a non-descript brown box and my blue dial Phantasos arrived. I love it. So much so, I ordered the black and neon green version 2 months ago and... yes, I'm still waiting 🙂. I got an apology email saying they have quality delays and will give me a free silicon strap. There is no date expectation of delivery with the email. Honestly... I think it's worth the wait. It's the right kind of different and a conversation starter. It's stylish at an affordable price. Am I a "fan boy" yet?... getting there.
I agree, the dial when seen in "person" is a much nicer and deep color than in the pictures, also the whole 3D effect of the dial, glass and rotor with all the little details of them, is just amazing and can't be understood from the pics or videos of the whole thing
Great description,”Bonkers”. Much prefer the Phantasos, just the right side of bonkers to be pleasing to the eye and wearable, lovely blue dial, very nice bracelet that to me is a perfect match to the watch, not what I’d normally go for, however, I do like this one👍.
It’s weird for me cause I love the design of the case and how the bracelet integrates into it. I believe it’s a watch I would grow to enjoy. But that ak for some reason I gravitate to it because of all of its uniqueness. That watch confuses me cause it is trying to cover both aspects of standing out but being refined. That Ak just says hey I bet you haven’t seen a watch like this before and would be a great conversation piece.
Another kickass video, my boy.. I agree with everything that you said 100% It's almost like you were reading my mind. I get my Phantasos next week sometime I think. Both the Royal Blue and the Black versions. And honestly I can't decide which one I like better. The Atowak is bananas and looks hyper-expensive but the Phantasos is clean and simplistic.. yet they're both amazing. Like Connor Mcgregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov. Two completely different personalities but they'll both rip your soul right out of your body and send you off to your next life. So for me I gotta have both of these watches in the collection. Also don't forget the lume shot of the Phantasos on the comparison video. I'm sure your viewers are gonna dig it.
@@TheWatchScore Just got both of my Phantasos Triclops' in today and they are both amazing. Super super comfortable to wear. I can barely feel them on my wrists. Unlike the Cobra. But I can't say I like either the cobra or the tricloos better than the other. I love them both. Any watch collector who loves urwerk needs both of these in his collection. They're both worth it.
I bought this watch in early July. Weeks went by and nothing. Finally got an email on Oct 10 saying "it will definitely be shipped by end of october". Now, two months later, it still has not arrived, and now there is email silence from the guy. What the hell is wrong with these people? Is it a scam or are they just utterly incompetent?
Tried to place an order but it didn't go through. Called the phone number on their website and it was a voicemail for a Doctor. Way too sketchy for me.
I think the Doctor vanished, the chinese manufacturer saved the Kickstarter orders and is now selling the remaining stock on AliExpress.. a sad, undeserved end for a nice watch

wow... great unboxing. I wish the cobra was half the price, but in your hands-on... the Phantasos looks above average!
Interesting concepts, these last two.

Totally agree! Having seen the watch I say it was totally worth also paying extra for the Sellita movement.
Absolutely love the depth to the dial and the big crystal so unique 🔥🔥😎

its got such a nice bracelet, very clean lines in that
Great video. I'd love to see an update video about these watches, after you have a few months experience with them.
Thanks! It will surely be earlier than a few months, I'll probably publish a side-by-side comparison soon
I wish the brand name was smaller and less visible

@@doctorbrown2313 I totally agree! Phantasos feels on wrist like a normal watch, Atowak is wild but both are equally amazing really!
Did u get to keep the watch even after chargeback?
