Thanks for this. Helped me quickly fix it after a fall on our single pump. Slightly different design on the inside where the rubber pipes on the pump were off position and just place them back in place to fix it
You need to push the clips out from the bottom. They are difficult to access. A very thin and strong metal/steel item is needed that doesn’t flex too much. You must then shine a light in the other holes to locate the hooks. Not sure if it makes sense.
My pump is intermittant and I see no screws on the bottom. My model is slightly different with one pump only. I knew it snapped together somehow and probably has similar clips , I will try not to break. I will try with 4 butter knives to pop apart.
Thanks a lot for the video. How do you pull off the bottom? I don't get it... Mine sits in there very firmly. I can't just pull it off. Do you have to push a clip to open the bottom?
@@willemtreurnicht3818 You mean the battery cover? Yes, I took it off. I mean the bottom lid where pumps are attached. Do you pull the bottom lid off before the top lid is detached or after that?
@@JJ-wm3mj If I remember correctly you need to get the top cover off the take out the screws that holds the bottom cover in place. Ours didn't have batteries or a battery cover that could be slightly different.
@@willemtreurnicht3818 Oh right, the screws. Sneaky people at Philips made it so difficult to disassemble and so easy to break for a reason. Thanks for your help!
too little voltageI think. Count the batteries and times it by 1.5 volts. That should be the minimum voltage that you can feed for it to work correctly. Just double check the voltage per battery but normal AAA and AA , C and D batteries are 1.5 volts per cell...
@@willemtreurnicht3818 Actually the original power adapter got damaged. I tried using a non Avent power adapter with same rating of 5 V and 1000 mA, the power button blinks but the pump does not function. When I used 4 x 1.5 V alkaline or 4 x 1.2 V rechargeable batteries it does function. I wonder if the Avent power adaptor has a special circuit that other similar 5 V, 1000 mA power adapter doesn't have.

Ended up cutting off the original plug and soldering that up on the new power supply as the generic plug didn't want to make proper contact and didn't go in deep enough...
I suspect it might be a power supply issue. Try to get hold of the same voltage power supply and see if it works. Just remember to check the polarity on the plug.

Look at 1:30. Then you’ll see the clips.

You have to rotate it counter clockwise, I think, like a disk sitting on the bottom...

Hi. I have difficulties trying to open the cover. Do I have to push both clips at the same time or can it be one at a time?
Julianty Frost there’s a few clips that all need to be pushed out one by one before you can get the top cover off.
