i have the same problem in 1.8 tdci 2008 115 hp, at ford service after computer diagnosis they suspect EGR valve and a fuel pump sensor. did you find the real problem and solution? for sure are not the glow plugs, not the battery

I gave up, sold a car. New owner didnt do anything with that problem, and it starter to start normally. It could be a diesel quality.

maybe its the diesel..u have low quality diesel... try some other gas stations...and maybe some additive for diesel..
