Lods tips naman po kung pano ka gumawa ng resume para maka kuha ng trabaho. Mag ggraduate nako ngayon july 11 gusto kuna rin maka kuha ng trabaho dito lang ako sa st nicolas nag aaral sana mapansin mo lods

I graduated in IT and currently work in the media and building construction industries as a 3D rendering specialist. I used to think IT was all about coding until I met an old IT guy who told me, "IT is a big industry, so don't lose hope."

Kuya I'm currently a First year IT student. Do you think there's still a fututre within the tech industry for programmers? AI is rapidly advancing kasi, baka nagpapagod lang ako just to be jobless in the future
Software jobs one of the most safe against AI because in most cases your it can help you speed up your development. It is also good if you plan to set up your own startup/company. The only downside is that it will potentially replace some bad programmers. So to embrace is to upskill. Unless tinatamad ka mag upskill then programming and software engineering in general is not for you.
It’s no longer enough to be mediocre or just getting a degree with no strong portfolio to prove your skills, even before the recent AI breakthroughs this was already half-true but in the future, programming will be relatively safe IF you can out-skill and outwork everyone else which means you really need to self-study na talaga as early as college and start working on your portfolio asap. Be active with online communities and have personal projects outside your academics, employers will look for proof of drive to self-study, initiative, and most of all skill. Mass layoffs are happening sa US and web development is super saturated na talaga so you need to be in the top percentile of programming for AI to not replace you.
