Karjalan prikaati järjestää Karelian Spear 24 -harjoituksen Juva - Puumala - Ristiina - Mikkeli alueella 29.11.-5.12.2024. Harjoitukseen osallistuu joukkoja kaikista eteläisen Suomen Maavoimien joukko-osastoista; Karjalan prikaatista, Porin prikaatista, Panssariprikaatista, Maasotakoulusta sekä joukkoja Rajavartiolaitokselta. Harjoituksen kokonaisvahvuus on 7 000 henkilöä, joista reserviläisiä noin 2 800. Sen johtaa Karjalan prikaatin komentaja prikaatikenraali Jyri Raitasalo. Varusmiesten päättöharjoitus The Karelian Brigade will organize the Karelian Spear 24 exercise in the Juva - Puumala - Ristiina - Mikkeli area from 29 November to 5 December 2024. The exercise will involve troops from all southern Finnish Army divisions; the Karelian Brigade, the Pori Brigade, the Armoured Brigade, the Land Warfare School and troops from the Border Guard. The total strength of the exercise is 7,000 personnel, of which approximately 2,800 are reservists. It will be led by the Commander of the Karelian Brigade, Brigadier General Jyri Raitasalo. Final exercise for conscripts.
