The Seventh Seal (1957)
Wild Strawberries (1957)
Persona (1966)

As a Swede and Bergman fanatic it's nice to see some more international Bergman exposure on youtube! I saw Summer Interlude recently and was really impressed by it, it might be his greatest early work, at least before Gycklarnas afton (Sawdust and Tinsel) great analysis!
Thank you! I appreciate that. And I'd agree with what you consider the early great works from Bergman. I think I'd put Summer with Monika up there too.
@@EyebrowCinema Haven't seen Sommaren med Monika in quite a while, need to revisit it, but what you're saying here about "the poetry of atmosphere" certainly applies to that movie as well
@@Badamtish yay my next to country neighbour! :D
This and Winter Light are my favorite Bergman pictures
Just watched this and it’s my favorite Bergman so far! The cinematography is mesmerizing!
Love these videos. Don't know how you channel hasn't popped off yet. Keep grinding
Probably because Bergman isn't much of a draw for younger youtube viewers, but you gotta do what you love. Thanks for the kind words!
Great review. Will check it out!
Love the Bergman series, certainly up to TV broadcast quality. Hope the series will continue soon.
The whole plot could almost be the script to " The summer with Monica" done 10 years later
Wonderful, helped me a lot, thanks.
Nice! Glad you enjoyed it.
Fantastic video. Seriously!
Spot on take! What is the film at 0:59? My mind has gone blank.
